تشارك المملكة في الاحتفاء باليوم العالمي لسلامة المرضى، الموافق سنويًا للسابع عشر من سبتمبر تحت شعار «سلامة المرضى منذ البداية»، تأكيدًا على أهمية تعزيز سلامة الأطفال وحديثي الولادة منذ اللحظات الأولى من حياتهم.
وتأتي هذه المشاركة في إطار دعم مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 وبرنامج التحول الوطني، نحو بناء مجتمع حيوي يتمتع بالصحة وجودة الحياة.
وفي هذا الإطار، أطلق المركز السعودي لسلامة المرضى حزمة من الفعاليات والبرامج المتنوعة؛ الهادفة إلى رفع مستوى الوعي بأهمية سلامة الأطفال وحديثي الولادة في الرعاية الصحية، وتمكين الأسر والممارسين الصحيين من تطبيق أفضل الممارسات لضمان رعاية صحية آمنة.
فعاليات متنوعة
وتشمل الفعاليات إضاءة عدد من المعالم والأبراج البارزة في مختلف مناطق المملكة باللون البرتقالي للدلالة على سلامة المرضى، إضافة إلى تنظيم محاضرات علمية للممارسين الصحيين، وإطلاق حملات توعوية عبر شاشات الطرق ومنصات التواصل الاجتماعي لتعزيز رسائل سلامة الطفل.
كما يشمل تفعيل التعاون مع عدة جهات منها وزارة الرياضة واتحاد الرياضة للجميع لتنظيم فعاليات رياضية ومجتمعية، وإنتاج مواد توعوية مخصصة للأطفال وأسرهم، بما يضمن وصول الرسائل التوعوية إلى مختلف فئات المجتمع.
وأكد المدير العام للمركز السعودي لسلامة المرضى الدكتور علي عسيري، أن المركز يدفع بجهوده نحو تعزيز ثقافة وممارسات سلامة المرضى منذ المراحل الأولى، بما يتفق مع مستهدفات الرؤية في بناء مجتمع حيوي ينعم أفراده بأعلى مستويات الصحة وجودة الحياة.
The Kingdom participates in celebrating World Patient Safety Day, which is annually observed on September 17 under the slogan "Patient Safety from the Start," emphasizing the importance of enhancing the safety of children and newborns from the very first moments of their lives.
This participation comes within the framework of supporting the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and the National Transformation Program, aimed at building a vibrant society that enjoys health and quality of life.
In this context, the Saudi Center for Patient Safety has launched a package of diverse events and programs aimed at raising awareness about the importance of child and newborn safety in healthcare, and empowering families and healthcare practitioners to apply best practices to ensure safe healthcare.
Diverse Events
The events include lighting up several prominent landmarks and towers in various regions of the Kingdom in orange to signify patient safety, in addition to organizing scientific lectures for healthcare practitioners, and launching awareness campaigns through roadside screens and social media platforms to enhance child safety messages.
It also includes activating cooperation with several entities, including the Ministry of Sports and the Saudi Sports for All Federation, to organize sports and community events, and produce awareness materials specifically for children and their families, ensuring that awareness messages reach various segments of society.
The Director General of the Saudi Center for Patient Safety, Dr. Ali Asiri, confirmed that the center is pushing its efforts to enhance the culture and practices of patient safety from the early stages, in line with the vision's objectives of building a vibrant society where individuals enjoy the highest levels of health and quality of life.
