تابع أمير منطقة جازان الأمير محمد بن عبدالعزيز بن محمد بن عبدالعزيز، الحادث المروري المأساوي الذي وقع صباح اليوم (الإثنين) بالداير ونتجت عنه وفاة 4 معلمات وسائقهن، إضافة لحالتين حرجتين نقلتا لمستشفى الملك فهد المركزي بجازان، أثناء ذهابهن للعمل الرسمي بمجمع مدارس آل يحيى وآل زيدان.
ووجه أمير جازان بمتابعة الحالات المصابة والعمل على إخلائها فوراً إلى مستشفى الملك فهد، كما حثّ جميع الجهات ذات العلاقة على تسخير الإمكانات والخدمات اللازمة كافة للمصابين.
ووقفت «عكاظ» عصر اليوم على موقع الحادث بالقرب من مدارس (السّارة) ورصدت بقايا آثار المركبة من نوع «صالون» المتبقية في موقعها.
خلل في مكابح المركبة
وأوضح شهود عيان أن خللاً في مكابح المركبة قادها للنزول بسرعة من عقبة القرن وارتطامها بالجبل، ما أدى للوفيات والإصابات في أسفل العقبة، موضحين أن السائق قد تخطى في طريقه العديد من المنحنيات الخطرة والصعبة لكنه قضاء الله وقدره.
ونعت مديرة مجمع مدارس آل يحيى وآل زيدان فاطمة علي عقيلي المعلمات المتوفيات؛ شريفة محمد علي آل إبراهيم، وجميلة ناصر عطيف، وفاخرة منصور غروي، ونورة علامي مطهري، مثنية على إخلاصهن في العمل، وجدّهن في أداء الرسالة التعليمية، مؤكدة أنهن تركن فراغاً لا يسد، داعية الله لهن بالرحمة والمغفرة.
وتقدمت قبيلة آل يحيى من بني مالك الداير ونيابة عنهم عريفة قبيلة آل يحيى الشيخ علي جابر جبران اليحيوي بأحرالتعازي والمواساة لأهالي المعلمات المتوفيات، سائلاً الله أن يتغمدهن بواسع رحمته وأن يعجّل بشفاء المصابات في هذا الحادث الأليم، مناشداً الجهات المختصة النظر في هذا الطريق الذي يحصد الأرواح وخطورته وانحداره الخطير. وطالب بفتح طريق نيد العقبة آل يحيى المشروع الذي يخدم قرى آل يحيى وآل زيدان، وهو طريق لا يوجد فيه ازدحام مروري، وسهل، ويخدم القرى المذكورة بمركز آل زيدان وقرى آل يحيى، آملاً من المسؤولين في المنطقة النظر وإعادة وفتح هذا الطريق للمواطنين.
The Emir of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, followed up on the tragic traffic accident that occurred this morning (Monday) in Al-Dayer, which resulted in the deaths of 4 female teachers and their driver, in addition to two critical cases that were transferred to King Fahd Central Hospital in Jazan, while they were on their way to their official work at the Al-Yahya and Al-Zaidan Schools complex.
The Emir of Jazan directed the follow-up on the injured cases and to evacuate them immediately to King Fahd Hospital, and he urged all relevant authorities to mobilize all necessary resources and services for the injured.
“Okaz” visited the accident site near the (Al-Sarah) schools this afternoon and observed the remnants of the vehicle, a "sedan," remaining at the site.
Brake Failure of the Vehicle
Eyewitnesses explained that a brake failure in the vehicle caused it to descend rapidly from the Al-Qarn slope and collide with the mountain, leading to the fatalities and injuries at the bottom of the slope, noting that the driver had passed many dangerous and difficult curves on the way, but it was God's will and destiny.
The director of the Al-Yahya and Al-Zaidan Schools complex, Fatima Ali Aqili, mourned the deceased teachers; Sharifa Mohammed Ali Al-Ibrahim, Jamila Nasser Atif, Fakhira Mansour Gharwi, and Noura Alami Mutahari, praising their dedication to work and their seriousness in performing the educational mission, affirming that they left an irreplaceable void, and praying to God for mercy and forgiveness for them.
The Al-Yahya tribe from Bani Malik Al-Dayer, represented by the chief of the Al-Yahya tribe, Sheikh Ali Jaber Jibran Al-Yahawi, extended their heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the families of the deceased teachers, asking God to envelop them in His vast mercy and to hasten the recovery of the injured in this painful accident, urging the relevant authorities to look into this road that claims lives and its dangerous slope. He called for the opening of the Nayd Al-Qabah Al-Yahya road project, which serves the villages of Al-Yahya and Al-Zaidan, a road that does not have traffic congestion, is easy, and serves the mentioned villages in the Al-Zaidan center and the Al-Yahya villages, hoping that the officials in the region will consider and reopen this road for the citizens.
