زارت سفيرة خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الأميرة ريما بنت بندر، الملحقية العسكرية السعودية في واشنطن.
وكان في استقبالها لدى وصولها مقر الملحقية، مساعد وزير الدفاع للشؤون التنفيذية الدكتور خالد البياري، الذي يزور العاصمة الأمريكية واشنطن في مهمة رسمية، إلى جانب الملحق العسكري بسفارة المملكة لدى واشنطن وأوتاوا اللواء الركن عبدالله بن خلف الخثعمي، ورؤساء أقسام الملحقية.
واستمعت الأميرة ريما خلال الزيارة إلى إيجاز عن أعمال ومهمات وأقسام الملحقية، والدعم الذي تحظى به من القيادة الرشيدة، بما يعزز المصالح المشتركة بين المملكة العربية السعودية والولايات المتحدة الأمريكية في مجالات التعاون الدفاعي والعسكري.
وفي ختام الزيارة، سجلت كلمة في سجل الزيارات، أعربت فيها عن تقديرها لجهود منسوبي الملحقية العسكرية السعودية في واشنطن وما يقومون به من أعمال لخدمة الوطن.
The Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the United States of America, Princess Reema bint Bandar, visited the Saudi Military Attaché in Washington.
Upon her arrival at the attaché's headquarters, she was welcomed by the Assistant Minister of Defense for Executive Affairs, Dr. Khalid Al-Bayari, who is visiting the American capital Washington on an official mission, along with the military attaché at the Kingdom's embassy in Washington and Ottawa, Major General Abdullah bin Khalaf Al-Khuthami, and the heads of the attaché's departments.
During the visit, Princess Reema listened to a briefing about the work, missions, and departments of the attaché, and the support it receives from the wise leadership, which enhances the common interests between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the United States of America in the fields of defense and military cooperation.
At the end of the visit, she recorded a message in the visitors' book, expressing her appreciation for the efforts of the staff of the Saudi Military Attaché in Washington and the work they do to serve the nation.
