أثار إلزام المعلمين بالبقاء سبع ساعات يومياً في مدارسهم، بعد استحداث تطبيق «حضوري» جدلاً بين المعلمين ووزارة التعليم؛ إذ اشتكى عدد منهم من أن النظام يُلزمهم بالبقاء في المدارس حتى الواحدة والربع، أو الواحدة والنصف ظهراً، على رغم أن طلاب الابتدائية ورياض الأطفال والطفولة المبكرة ينصرفون في الثانية عشرة ظهراً، أو الواحدة والنصف ظهراً، فيما ينصرف طلاب المتوسطة في بعض الأيام عند الثانية عشرة ظهراً.
طبيعة عمل المعلمين
وأوضح المعلمون أن هذا الوضع يجبرهم على البقاء دون طلاب حتى اكتمال الساعات المقررة، مطالبين الوزارة بمعالجته.
وقال معلمون لـ«عكاظ» إن طبيعة عمل المعلم ترتبط بوجود الطلاب، وإن طبيعة عمل المعلمين تختلف عن الموظفين في القطاعات الأخرى، حتى أن إجازاتهم ترتبط بانتهاء العام الدراسي، ما يعكس خصوصية مهنتهم.
وزارة التعليم: الدوام الرسمي 7 ساعات متصلة
وأوضحت وزارة التعليم أن النظام الجديد يحدد ساعات الدوام الرسمي بسبع ساعات متصلة، تبدأ من السادسة والربع صباحاً حتى الواحدة والربع ظهراً، مع تسجيل الموظف متأخراً إذا حضر بعد السادسة وخمس وأربعين دقيقة.
ويقوم النظام بتجميع دقائق التأخير وصولاً إلى حسم يوم كامل من راتب المعلم أو المعلمة عند بلوغ التأخير سبع ساعات.
التبليغ عن العنف أولوية قصوى
ومن ناحية ثانية؛ أعلنت وزارة التعليم أن التبليغ عن العنف أولوية قصوى في رياض الأطفال.
وأكدت ضرورة الالتزام التام بالتعليمات المنظمة للتعامل مع الحالات الطارئة أو الخاصة أو المرضية للأطفال.
وشددت على معلمات رياض الأطفال بأهمية اتباع الإجراءات النظامية عند الاشتباه بأية حالة عنف، أو أي نوع من الإيذاء. وأكدت الوزارة أن من أولويات مهمات المعلمة احترام الطفل، ومعاملته معاملة تربوية، تحقق له الأمن والطمأنينة، وتنمي شخصيته وتشعره بقيمته، مع مراعاة مواهبه واهتماماته.

Teachers explained that this situation compels them to stay without students until the required hours are completed, demanding the ministry to address it.
Teachers told "Okaz" that the nature of a teacher's work is tied to the presence of students, and that the nature of teachers' work differs from employees in other sectors, to the extent that their vacations are linked to the end of the academic year, reflecting the uniqueness of their profession.
Ministry of Education: Official Working Hours are 7 Consecutive Hours
The Ministry of Education clarified that the new system sets the official working hours at seven consecutive hours, starting from 6:15 AM until 1:15 PM, with employees being marked late if they arrive after 6:45 AM.
The system accumulates minutes of tardiness, leading to a deduction of a full day’s salary from the teacher when the tardiness reaches seven hours.
Reporting Violence is a Top Priority
On another note, the Ministry of Education announced that reporting violence is a top priority in kindergartens.
It emphasized the necessity of complete adherence to the instructions governing the handling of emergency, special, or medical cases involving children.
The ministry stressed to kindergarten teachers the importance of following regulatory procedures when suspecting any case of violence or any form of abuse. The ministry confirmed that one of the teacher's priorities is to respect the child and treat them in an educational manner that ensures their safety and security, develops their personality, and makes them feel valued, while considering their talents and interests.
