أكدت مؤسسة الملك عبدالعزيز ورجاله للموهبة والإبداع «موهبة»، أن التسجيل في الأولمبياد الوطني للإبداع العلمي «إبداع 2026» الذي تنظمه بالشراكة مع وزارة التعليم لطلاب وطالبات المرحلتين المتوسطة والثانوية في جميع مناطق المملكة، مستمر حتى 30 سبتمبر الجاري في 22 مجالاً علمياً.
ويُعد الأولمبياد الوطني للإبداع العلمي مسابقة علمية سنوية تقوم على التنافس من خلال تقديم مشاريع علمية فردية، وفقاً للمعايير والضوابط المحددة، ويحكمها إلكترونياً نخبة من الأكاديميين والمختصين، لترشيح المشاريع المميزة للمراحل التنافسية الأعلى وصولاً إلى المشاركة في معرض «آيسف» بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.
وكانت نسخة العام الماضي «إبداع 2025» شهدت تسجيلاً قياسياً بأكثر من 291 ألف طالب وطالبة من 16 منطقة تعليمية و49 إدارة تعليمية، مما يؤكد رغبة طلاب وطالبات المملكة في التميز العلمي، كما يجسد اهتمام صُنّاع القرار وشركاء الموهبة المتزايد بتمكين المواهب الشابة وتعزيز قدراتها.
ويهدف الأولمبياد الوطني للإبداع العلمي إلى تنمية روح الإبداع لدى الطلاب والطالبات في المجالات العلمية والتقنية، واكتشاف المواهب الكامنة لديهم، وتطوير مهاراتهم وقدراتهم في مجالات البحث والابتكار، وتمثيل المملكة في المحافل الدولية بمشاريع مميزة.
ويمر الأولمبياد بـ6 مراحل تنظيمية، تبدأ بتسجيل معلومات الطالب، ثم المحاضرات التدريبية للطلبة والمشرفين، تليها مرحلة معارض المناطق التعليمية، يعقبها تسجيل معلومات المشروع إلكترونياً ورفعه على موقع موهبة.
أما المرحلة الثالثة، فتشمل التحكيم الإلكتروني للمشاريع من قِبل نخبة من الأكاديميين والمختصين وفق معايير علمية دقيقة، وإعلان أسماء المرشحين للمعارض المركزية، ورفع نماذج إبداع على الموقع الإلكتروني.
وتُخصص المرحلة الرابعة لتنظيم المعارض المركزية والورش التدريبية المصاحبة لها، التي تُقام في 4 مدن رئيسة، وفيها يُعلن عن المتأهلين إلى المرحلة النهائية، مع إتاحة الفرصة للمشاركين لتحديث بيانات مشاريعهم.
وفي المرحلة الخامسة يُقام معرض إبداع للعلوم والهندسة، الذي يمثل التصفيات النهائية، فيما تُختتم المسيرة بالمرحلة السادسة والأخيرة، إذ يُعقد البرنامج التأهيلي للمشاركة الدولية في معرض ريجينيرون الدولي للعلوم والهندسة «آيسف»، ومن ثم المشاركة فيه بالولايات المتحدة الأمريكية.

The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity "Mawhiba" confirmed that registration for the National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity "Ibda'a 2026," which it organizes in partnership with the Ministry of Education for male and female students in the intermediate and secondary stages across all regions of the Kingdom, is ongoing until September 30 of this year in 22 scientific fields.
The National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity is an annual scientific competition based on competition through the submission of individual scientific projects, according to specified criteria and regulations, judged electronically by a select group of academics and specialists, to nominate outstanding projects for higher competitive stages leading to participation in the "ISEF" exhibition in the United States of America.
Last year's edition "Ibda'a 2025" witnessed a record registration of more than 291,000 male and female students from 16 educational regions and 49 educational administrations, which confirms the desire of students in the Kingdom to excel scientifically, as well as reflecting the increasing interest of decision-makers and partners in talent in empowering young talents and enhancing their capabilities.
The National Olympiad for Scientific Creativity aims to develop the spirit of creativity among male and female students in scientific and technical fields, discover their hidden talents, and develop their skills and abilities in research and innovation, representing the Kingdom in international forums with outstanding projects.
The Olympiad goes through 6 organizational stages, starting with registering the student's information, followed by training lectures for students and supervisors, then the stage of educational region exhibitions, followed by the electronic registration of project information and uploading it to the Mawhiba website.
The third stage includes the electronic judging of projects by a select group of academics and specialists according to precise scientific criteria, announcing the names of candidates for the central exhibitions, and uploading creative models on the website.
The fourth stage is dedicated to organizing the central exhibitions and the accompanying training workshops, which are held in 4 major cities, where the qualifiers for the final stage are announced, allowing participants the opportunity to update their project information.
In the fifth stage, the Ibda'a Exhibition for Science and Engineering is held, representing the final qualifiers, while the journey concludes with the sixth and final stage, where the preparatory program for international participation in the Regeneron International Science and Engineering Fair "ISEF" is held, followed by participation in the United States of America.
