اللجنة الوزارية الخليجية للأمن السيبراني تعتمد الخطة الإستراتيجية وآليات الحوكمة

The ministerial committee for cybersecurity of the Gulf Cooperation Council held its fourth meeting in Kuwait City, chaired by the head of the National Cybersecurity Center of Kuwait, Engineer Abeer Al-Awadi, with the attendance of officials from the relevant cybersecurity authorities of the member states, and the Assistant Secretary-General for Economic and Development Affairs at the General Secretariat of the Gulf Cooperation Council, Khalid Al-Sunaidi. The meeting discussed several topics related to enhancing and growing cybersecurity in the member states, aligning efforts, and raising the level of cooperation among the member states in this field. During the meeting, the executive plan for the Gulf Cybersecurity Strategy 2024 - 2028 was approved, the framework for international cooperation among the Gulf Cooperation Council member states in the field of cybersecurity was adopted, and the governance mechanism for sharing information related to the Cyber Threat Information Sharing Platform was approved, in addition to launching the cybersecurity podcast for the Gulf Cooperation Council member states, and adopting the minutes of the fourth meeting of the Cybersecurity Executive Committee and the minutes of its affiliated committees.
