رأس النائب العام رئيس جمعية النواب العموم العرب الشيخ سعود بن عبدالله المعجب، أعمال الاجتماع السنوي الخامس لجمعية النواب العموم العرب، الذي تستضيفه سلطنة عُمان، بمشاركة النواب العموم والمدعين العامين من الدول الخليجية والعربية.
واستعرض المشاركون العديد من الموضوعات الرئيسية، التي ركزت على تعزيز التعاون القضائي العربي بما يعزز من فعاليته في مواجهة الجرائم، ولا سيما الجرائم العابرة للحدود، إضافةً إلى بحث آليات تبادل الخبرات الجنائية، وتوحيد الجهود للتصدي للتحديات المشتركة.
وتخلل الاجتماع، تكريم عدد من الكفاءات المتميزة من أعضاء النيابات العامة والادعاء العام في الدول الأعضاء، تقديرًا لأعمالهم العدلية الجليلة.
كما تُعقد على هامش الاجتماع، ندوة متخصّصة حول جرائم العملات الرقمية، تسلط الضوء على أساليب التحقيق وتحريز الأدلة في هذه القضايا، إلى جانب استعراض التجارب والممارسات الناجحة لدى الدول الأعضاء.
The Attorney General, Chairman of the Arab Attorneys General Association, Sheikh Saud bin Abdullah Al-Mu'ajab, opened the fifth annual meeting of the Arab Attorneys General Association, hosted by the Sultanate of Oman, with the participation of attorneys general and public prosecutors from Gulf and Arab countries.
The participants reviewed several key topics that focused on enhancing Arab judicial cooperation to improve its effectiveness in combating crimes, particularly transnational crimes, in addition to discussing mechanisms for exchanging criminal expertise and unifying efforts to address common challenges.
The meeting included the honoring of several distinguished members from the public prosecution and attorney general offices in member countries, in appreciation of their noble judicial work.
A specialized seminar on cryptocurrency crimes is also being held on the sidelines of the meeting, highlighting investigation methods and evidence preservation in these cases, along with showcasing successful experiences and practices from member countries.
