ضبطت قوة الاستجابة بالقوة الخاصة للأمن البيئي بمحمية الملك سلمان الملكية بالتعاون مع شرطة محافظة طبرجل في منطقة الجوف 7 مواطنين مخالفين لنظام البيئة؛ لارتكابهم مخالفة الشروع في الصيد دون ترخيص، بحوزتهم 4 بنادق شوزن، وبندقية هوائية و117 ذخيرة متنوعة، وجهاز جذب الطيور، وحُرزت المضبوطات وطُبقت الإجراءات النظامية بحقهم.
وشدّدت القوات على الالتزام بنظام البيئة ولوائحه التنفيذية التي تجرّم صيد الكائنات الفطرية، مؤكدةً أن عقوبة الصيد في أماكن محظور الصيد فيها غرامة 5,000 ريال، وعقوبة الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة 10,000 ريال، وعقوبة استخدام أجهزة جذب الطيور غرامة 50,000 ريال، وعقوبة استخدام بنادق الشوزن في الصيد غرامة 100,000 ريال.
وأهابت في الوقت ذاته بالمبادرة بالإبلاغ عن أي حالات تمثل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية، وذلك بالاتصال بالرقم (911) بمناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) و(996) في بقية مناطق المملكة، وستعامل جميع البلاغات بسرية تامة دون أدنى مسؤولية على المبلّغ.
The Environmental Security Special Forces, in collaboration with the Tabarjal Police in the Al-Jawf region, apprehended 7 citizens violating environmental regulations for attempting to hunt without a license. They were found in possession of 4 shotguns, an air rifle, 117 assorted ammunition, and a bird attracting device. The seized items were confiscated, and legal procedures were applied against them.
The forces emphasized the importance of adhering to environmental regulations and their executive bylaws, which criminalize the hunting of wildlife. They confirmed that the penalty for hunting in prohibited areas is a fine of 5,000 Riyals, the penalty for hunting without a license is a fine of 10,000 Riyals, the penalty for using bird attracting devices is a fine of 50,000 Riyals, and the penalty for using shotguns for hunting is a fine of 100,000 Riyals.
At the same time, they urged the public to report any cases that represent an assault on the environment or wildlife by calling (911) in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and (999) and (996) in the rest of the Kingdom. All reports will be handled with complete confidentiality, with no liability on the reporter.
