التقى وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، في العاصمة الإيطالية روما، اليوم، نائب رئيس الوزراء وزير خارجية الجمهورية الإيطالية أنتونيو تاجاني، وذلك خلال زيارته الرسمية لجمهورية إيطاليا.
وعقد الجانبان جلسة مباحثات رسمية بحثا خلالها تعزيز العلاقات السعودية الإيطالية في العديد من المجالات، كما تطرقا إلى أهمية مواصلة العمل والتنسيق تجاه جميع القضايا الإقليمية والدولية، ودعم التوصل للحلول السلمية وإنهاء النزاعات، لاسيما في قطاع غزة، وأهمية اتخاذ جميع الخطوات والتدابير لإدخال المساعدات الإغاثية والإنسانية إلى داخل القطاع بالتعاون الكامل مع الآليات الدولية.
وتطرق الجانبان إلى أهمية حل الأزمة الأوكرانية بالطرق السلمية، إذ ثمّن وزير الخارجية الإيطالي جهود المملكة في تقريب وجهات النظر الروسية الأمريكية لإيجاد حل لهذه الأزمة.
وأشاد الجانبان بالعلاقات الاقتصادية المتطورة بين البلدين الصديقين، إذ بلغ حجم التبادل التجاري أكثر من 12 مليار دولار في عام 2024، متطلعين إلى مزيد من التقدم في التعاون الاقتصادي خلال الفترة القادمة.
حضر اللقاء مستشار وزير الخارجية للشؤون السياسية الأمير مصعب بن محمد الفرحان، ومستشار الوزير محمد اليحيى، والوزير المفوض بوزارة الخارجية الدكتورة منال رضوان، ونائب سفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى جمهورية إيطاليا طارق الفايز.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, met today in the Italian capital, Rome, with the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Italian Republic, Antonio Tajani, during his official visit to the Republic of Italy.
The two sides held an official discussion session during which they explored ways to enhance Saudi-Italian relations in various fields. They also addressed the importance of continuing to work and coordinate on all regional and international issues, supporting the achievement of peaceful solutions and ending conflicts, particularly in the Gaza Strip, and the importance of taking all necessary steps and measures to deliver humanitarian and relief aid into the region in full cooperation with international mechanisms.
The two sides discussed the importance of resolving the Ukrainian crisis through peaceful means, with the Italian Foreign Minister appreciating the Kingdom's efforts to bridge the Russian-American perspectives to find a solution to this crisis.
Both sides praised the developing economic relations between the two friendly countries, noting that the volume of trade exchange exceeded 12 billion dollars in 2024, looking forward to further progress in economic cooperation in the coming period.
The meeting was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs' Political Affairs Advisor, Prince Musab bin Mohammed Al Farhan, the Minister's Advisor Mohammed Al Yahya, the Minister Plenipotentiary at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Dr. Manal Radwan, and the Deputy Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Republic of Italy, Tariq Al-Fayez.
