افتتح أمير منطقة حائل الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعد بن عبدالعزيز، اليوم جامع برزان التاريخي عقب الانتهاء من أعمال الترميم والديكورات التي نفذتها الجمعية الخيرية للعناية بالمساجد بالمنطقة، وأدى صلاة الظهر مع جموع المصلين بعد الافتتاح.
ونوّه خلال المناسبة بالدعم غير المحدود الذي توليه القيادة لعمارة بيوت الله والعناية بها، مؤكدا أن ذلك يجسد اهتمام الدولة المتواصل بالمساجد ودورها في خدمة المجتمع، مبرزا مكانة جامع برزان باعتباره أحد المعالم الدينية والتاريخية البارزة في حائل.
ويُعد جامع برزان من أعرق جوامع المنطقة، إذ شُيّد في النصف الثاني من القرن الثالث عشر الهجري قبل نحو 150 عاما، وأُعيد بناؤه بالكامل عام 1401هـ ليستوعب ما يزيد على ستة آلاف مصلٍّ، وتميز ببنائه من الطوب الصخري والجبلي المستخرج من جبال أجا، ما منحه مظهرا معماريا فريدا.
ويأتي ترميم الجامع ومرافقه ضمن برنامج الأمير عبدالعزيز بن سعد لبناء وترميم المساجد والعناية بها في منطقة حائل، في إطار خطة شاملة أطلقتها الجمعية الخيرية للعناية بالمساجد تستهدف صيانة بيوت الله التاريخية والحفاظ على دورها الحيوي في تعزيز رسالة الدين وتماسك المجتمع.
The Prince of Hail Region, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad bin Abdulaziz, inaugurated the historic Barzan Mosque today following the completion of restoration and decoration works carried out by the charitable association for the care of mosques in the region, and he performed the noon prayer with the congregation after the inauguration.
During the event, he highlighted the unlimited support provided by the leadership for the construction and care of God's houses, affirming that this reflects the state's ongoing interest in mosques and their role in serving the community, emphasizing the significance of Barzan Mosque as one of the prominent religious and historical landmarks in Hail.
Barzan Mosque is considered one of the oldest mosques in the region, having been built in the second half of the 13th Hijri century around 150 years ago, and it was completely rebuilt in 1401 AH to accommodate more than six thousand worshippers. It is distinguished by its construction from rocky and mountainous bricks extracted from the Aja Mountains, which gives it a unique architectural appearance.
The restoration of the mosque and its facilities is part of Prince Abdulaziz bin Saad's program for building and restoring mosques and caring for them in the Hail Region, within a comprehensive plan launched by the charitable association for the care of mosques aimed at maintaining historical houses of God and preserving their vital role in promoting the message of religion and community cohesion.
