اعتمد أمين المنطقة الشرقية المهندس فهد الجبير اليوم، الإستراتيجية الرقمية الشاملة، التي تمثل إطاراً إستراتيجياً يرسخ ريادة المنطقة الشرقية كونها نموذجاً وطنياً في التحول الرقمي وبناء المدن الذكية المستدامة.
وبيّن وكيل الأمين للتحول الرقمي والمدن الذكية المهندس نائل الحقيل، في عرض متكاملٍ للإستراتيجية، أبرز ملامحها ومحاورها الرئيسية، وآليات تنفيذها بما يواكب مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، التي تهدف إلى رفع مستوى الشفافية وتحسين جودة الخدمات البلدية عبر قرارات قائمة على البيانات، وتعزيز رضا المستفيدين، وتطوير بنية تحتية رقمية متكاملة تدعم استمرارية الأعمال والأنظمة الوطنية، إضافة إلى تمكين الكفاءات الوطنية المؤهلة لقيادة المرحلة الرقمية القادمة.
وتسعى الإستراتيجية إلى تعزيز الاقتصاد الرقمي من خلال استقطاب الاستثمارات النوعية وخلق فرص عمل جديدة، إلى جانب تبني مبادرات المدن الذكية التي تسهم في الحد من الأثر البيئي وتحسين جودة الحياة.
ويأتي اعتماد هذه الإستراتيجية انسجاماً مع مستهدفات رؤية 2030، الهادفة إلى بناء مدن أكثر ذكاء واستدامة، بما يعكس التزام أمانة الشرقية بالابتكار والتطوير المستمر، ودعم تنافسية المملكة على المستويين الوطني والعالمي.
The Secretary of the Eastern Province, Engineer Fahd Al-Jubair, today approved the comprehensive digital strategy, which represents a strategic framework that solidifies the leadership of the Eastern Province as a national model in digital transformation and the development of sustainable smart cities.
The Assistant Secretary for Digital Transformation and Smart Cities, Engineer Nabil Al-Huqail, presented a comprehensive overview of the strategy, highlighting its main features and key axes, as well as its implementation mechanisms in line with the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. This vision aims to enhance transparency and improve the quality of municipal services through data-driven decisions, increase beneficiary satisfaction, and develop an integrated digital infrastructure that supports business continuity and national systems, in addition to empowering qualified national talents to lead the upcoming digital phase.
The strategy aims to enhance the digital economy by attracting quality investments and creating new job opportunities, alongside adopting smart city initiatives that contribute to reducing environmental impact and improving quality of life.
The approval of this strategy aligns with the objectives of Vision 2030, which aims to build smarter and more sustainable cities, reflecting the commitment of the Eastern Province Municipality to innovation and continuous development, and supporting the competitiveness of the Kingdom at both national and global levels.
