The Saudi Geological Survey held joint meetings with international bodies to discuss areas of cooperation in geology and mining, including the Global Geospatial Authority, the United States Geological Survey, the Finnish Geological Institute, the Korean Geological Institute, the French Geological Survey, the British Geological Survey, and the Japanese Geological Survey.

During the meetings, discussions were held on ways to enhance partnerships in the fields of geology and mining, contributing to the development of national capabilities and elevating the sector to meet global standards, with a focus on the human factor as a key element in the development journey, alongside benefiting from advanced technologies and processes in exploration and production operations. These meetings represent a strategic step towards building an integrated geological system with a global dimension, affirming the Kingdom's commitment to enhancing its international standing in the field of mining and supporting sustainable development pathways through quality partnerships with prestigious institutions and global bodies.
