آل الشيخ يعتمد أسماء الفائزين في مسابقة الملك عبدالعزيز الدولية لحفظ القرآن الكريم

The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh, approved the results and names of the winners in the King Abdulaziz International Competition for Memorizing, Reciting, and Interpreting the Holy Quran in its 45th session, which was held in the Grand Mosque from 15 to 26 Safar 1447 AH, with the participation of (179) contestants from (128) countries around the world competing in the (5) branches of the competition, with a total prize amount of (4,000,000) Riyals.

The first place in the first branch was won by contestant Muhammad Adam Muhammad from the Republic of Chad, who received an amount of (500,000) Riyals. The second place went to Anas bin Majid Al-Hazmi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who received (450,000) Riyals, and the third place was won by Sanusi Bukhari Idris from Nigeria, who received (400,000) Riyals.

In the second branch, the first place was won by contestant Mansour bin Muteb Al-Harbi from the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who received (300,000) Riyals. The second place went to Abdul Wadud bin Sidira from Algeria, who received (275,000) Riyals, and the third place was won by Ibrahim Khairuddin Muhammad from Ethiopia, who received (250,000) Riyals.

The winners in the third branch were as follows: first place went to Muhammad Damaj Al-Shuwa'i from Yemen, who received (200,000) Riyals. The second place was won by Muhammad Muhammad Kousi from Chad, who received (190,000) Riyals, and the third place went to Badr Jang from Senegal, who received (180,000) Riyals. The fourth place was won by Muhammad Amin Hassan from the United States of America, who received (170,000) Riyals, and the fifth place went to Muhammad Kamal Mansi from Palestine, who received (160,000) Riyals.

In the fourth branch, the first place was won by Nasr Abdul Majid Amer from Egypt, who received (150,000) Riyals. The second place went to Bayou Webisuno from Indonesia, who received (140,000) Riyals, and the third place was won by contestant Tahir Patel from Réunion Island, who received (130,000) Riyals. The fourth place went to Yusuf Hassan Osman from Somalia, who received (120,000) Riyals, and the fifth place was won by Boubacar Diko from Mali, who received (110,000) Riyals.

In the fifth branch, the first place was won by Anwa Intarat from the Kingdom of Thailand, who received (65,000) Riyals. The second place went to Salah Al-Din Hossam Wazani from Portugal, who received (60,000) Riyals, and the third place was won by Chaing Wana Su from Myanmar, who received (55,000) Riyals. The fourth place went to Abdul Rahman Abdul Moneim from Bosnia and Herzegovina, who received (50,000) Riyals, and the fifth place was won by Anis Shala from Kosovo, who received (45,000) Riyals.

The Minister of Islamic Affairs praised the level of the participants in the award, congratulating the winners and their companions on this achievement and success. He prayed to Allah to reward the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for their care of the Holy Quran and their sponsorship of this Quranic competition and their honoring of the people of the Quran from around the world.
