وقّع وزير الشؤون الإسلامية والدعوة والإرشاد الشيخ الدكتور عبداللطيف بن عبدالعزيز آل الشيخ، بمكتبه في جدة اليوم، البرنامج التنفيذي لمذكرة التفاهم في المجالات الإسلامية مع رئيس الاتحاد الإسلامي ومفتي الديار في جمهورية مقدونيا الشمالية الحافظ شاكر فتاحو، في إطار العلاقات المتميزة بين المملكة ومقدونيا الشمالية.
ويأتي البرنامج تنفيذا لمذكرة التفاهم الموقعة سابقا بين الوزارة والرئاسة الإسلامية العليا في مقدونيا الشمالية بمدينة سكوبيه بتاريخ 15/ 1/ 1446هـ.
وتضمن البرنامج إقامة الدورات العلمية لتأهيل الأئمة والدعاة والخطباء والمؤذنين، وتنفيذ برامج دعوية لتعزيز الوسطية والاعتدال والتعريف بسماحة الإسلام ومواجهة الغلو والتطرف، وتزويد المشيخة الإسلامية بإصدارات الوزارة ومجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف، وتبادل الدعوات للمؤتمرات والندوات والمسابقات القرآنية، وعقد لقاء علمي في المدينة المنورة، والترتيب لزيارة أحد أئمة الحرمين إلى جمهورية مقدونيا الشمالية.
وعقب مراسم التوقيع، أكد وزير الشؤون الإسلامية أن المملكة بقيادة خادم الحرمين الشريفين الملك سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، وولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، تسعى دائما وتعمل بإخلاص لخدمة الإسلام والمسلمين في شتى بقاع الأرض.
وأشار إلى أن ما تقوم به المملكة من جهود هو منطلق من الدعوة الإسلامية الصحيحة، لنشر منهج الوسطية والاعتدال الذي جاء به القرآن الكريم والسنة النبوية المطهرة، الذي يدعو إلى الرحمة والتسامح والعدل، وينبذ العنف والتطرف، ويعزز قيم العيش المشترك، ليكون المسلم داعيا للهدى والصلاح والفلاح في الدنيا والآخرة.
ونوّه بالعلاقات الأخوية التي تجمع المملكة بجمهورية مقدونيا الشمالية، مثمنا زيارة رئيس المشيخة الإسلامية، مؤكّدا أن هذا التعاون يأتي في إطار الجهود المتواصلة للمملكة لتعزيز القيم الإسلامية السمحة، ونشر العلم الشرعي الصحيح وفق ما جاء في كتاب الله وسنة رسوله صلى الله عليه وسلم، وفهم السلف الصالح.
من جهته، أشار رئيس الاتحاد الإسلامي ومفتي الديار في جمهورية مقدونيا الشمالية إلى ما تحظى به المملكة من مكانة رائدة في خدمة الإسلام والمسلمين، مُقدِّرا عناية القيادة بدعم الأعمال الدعوية والخيرية والإنسانية في مختلف أنحاء العالم.
وبيّن أن توقيع البرنامج التنفيذي مع وزارة الشؤون الإسلامية يعكس اهتمام المملكة وحرصها الدائم على مد جسور التعاون مع المؤسسات الإسلامية، مشيدا بتجربة المملكة الرائدة في العمل الإسلامي ودور الوزارة في التواصل البنّاء مع المعنيين بالشأن الإسلامي، الذي استفاد من تجربته وتوجيهاته، مقدما شكره لوزير الشؤون الإسلامية على إقامة المسابقة القرآنية الدولية في جمهورية مقدونيا الشمالية عام 2026، وهو ما يعد دعما يعكس رسالة المملكة في خدمة القرآن الكريم ونشر الوسطية والاعتدال عالميا.
The Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif bin Abdul Aziz Al Sheikh, signed today in his office in Jeddah the executive program for the memorandum of understanding in Islamic fields with the President of the Islamic Union and Grand Mufti of North Macedonia, Hafiz Shakir Fatihou, as part of the distinguished relations between the Kingdom and North Macedonia.
This program comes in implementation of the memorandum of understanding previously signed between the ministry and the Islamic High Presidency in North Macedonia in the city of Skopje on 15/1/1446 AH.
The program includes the establishment of scientific courses to qualify imams, preachers, speakers, and callers to prayer, the implementation of advocacy programs to promote moderation and balance, to introduce the tolerance of Islam, and to confront extremism and radicalism, providing the Islamic Sheikhdom with publications from the ministry and the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran, exchanging invitations for conferences, seminars, and Quranic competitions, holding a scientific meeting in Medina, and arranging for a visit by one of the imams of the Two Holy Mosques to North Macedonia.
Following the signing ceremony, the Minister of Islamic Affairs emphasized that the Kingdom, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz and Crown Prince and Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, is always striving and working sincerely to serve Islam and Muslims in various parts of the world.
He pointed out that the efforts made by the Kingdom are based on the correct Islamic call, to spread the methodology of moderation and balance that the Holy Quran and the purified Sunnah advocate, which calls for mercy, tolerance, and justice, rejects violence and extremism, and promotes the values of coexistence, so that the Muslim becomes a caller to guidance, righteousness, and success in this world and the Hereafter.
He highlighted the brotherly relations that unite the Kingdom with North Macedonia, appreciating the visit of the President of the Islamic Sheikhdom, confirming that this cooperation comes within the framework of the Kingdom's ongoing efforts to promote the noble Islamic values and to spread the correct religious knowledge according to what is stated in the Book of Allah and the Sunnah of His Messenger, peace be upon him, and the understanding of the righteous predecessors.
For his part, the President of the Islamic Union and Grand Mufti of North Macedonia pointed out the leading position the Kingdom holds in serving Islam and Muslims, appreciating the leadership's attention to supporting advocacy, charitable, and humanitarian work around the world.
He indicated that the signing of the executive program with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs reflects the Kingdom's interest and constant keenness to build bridges of cooperation with Islamic institutions, praising the Kingdom's pioneering experience in Islamic work and the ministry's role in constructive communication with those concerned with Islamic affairs, which has benefited from its experience and guidance, expressing his gratitude to the Minister of Islamic Affairs for organizing the international Quranic competition in North Macedonia in 2026, which is considered support that reflects the Kingdom's message in serving the Holy Quran and promoting moderation and balance globally.
