قبضت الجهات الأمنية بمنطقة الرياض على مجموعة من الوافدين، لسرقتهم كيابل كهربائية من مدارس ومرافق عامة وخاصة بمدينة الرياض، وتخزينها في مستودعات وأحواش مخالفة والاتجار بها عبر منافذ البيع.
وأوضح الأمن العام عبر حسابه على موقع التواصل الاجتماعي «x»، جرى إيقافهم واتخاذ الإجراءات النظامية بحقهم، وإحالتهم إلى النيابة العامة.
يذكر أن إدارة تعليم الرياض أبلغت نحو 51 مدرسة في العاصمة، بتحويل الدراسة من التعليم الحضوري إلى «عن بُعد» بشكل مؤقت حتى يوم الخميس القادم، بعد تعرضها لسرقة الكيابل الكهربائية بمبانيها المدرسية. وقالت وزارة التعليم وفقاً لخطاب موجه لمديري هذه المدارس (اطلعت عليه «عكاظ»)، إن هذا الإجراء يأتي لحين الانتهاء من أعمال الصيانة بشكل آمن في المدارس التي تعرضت للسرقة. وتلقّى أولياء أمور الطلاب إشعارات بقرار التحويل «عن بُعد»، لحين الانتهاء من صيانة هذه المدارس والعودة مجدداً إلى الفصول الدراسية.
The security authorities in the Riyadh region have arrested a group of expatriates for stealing electrical cables from schools and public and private facilities in the city of Riyadh, storing them in illegal warehouses and yards, and trading them through sales outlets.
The General Security announced via its account on the social media platform "x" that they have been detained and legal procedures have been taken against them, and they have been referred to the Public Prosecution.
It is noteworthy that the Riyadh Education Administration has notified about 51 schools in the capital to temporarily shift from in-person education to "remote" learning until next Thursday, after they were subjected to theft of electrical cables from their school buildings. The Ministry of Education, according to a letter addressed to the directors of these schools (which "Okaz" has seen), stated that this measure is in place until safe maintenance work is completed in the schools that were robbed. Parents of the students received notifications about the decision to switch to "remote" learning until the maintenance of these schools is completed and they can return to the classrooms.
