تواصل أمانة منطقة القصيم جهودها في تعزيز جودة الحياة عبر تنفيذ مبادرة أرض القصيم الخضراء من خلال التوسع في المساحات الخضراء، وتحسين المشهد الحضري، مما يسهم في تعزيز مفهوم أنسنة المدن، وتوفير بيئة حضرية ملائمة للسكان والزوار.
وشملت الجهود تطوير المماشي والمرافق العامة وإنشاء الحدائق، إذ شهد عام 2024م تنفيذ مشروع «بهجة» الذي تضمن إنشاء 10 حدائق جديدة في مدينة بريدة بتصاميم ومساحات متنوعة؛ تهدف إلى زيادة نصيب الفرد من المساحات الخضراء، وتعزيز التنمية المستدامة بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030، كما نفذت الأمانة خلال العام نفسه 20 تدخلاً حضرياً لتحسين المظهر الجمالي وتعزيز البيئة الحضرية، إضافة إلى إنشاء 41 مضماراً للمشي في الحدائق والميادين والساحات العامة بمدينة بريدة، بإجمالي أطوال بلغ 44179 متراً طولياً، وكان مضمار طريق الملك عبدالله الأطول بطول 7877 متراً طولياً؛ مما وفر بيئة آمنة لممارسة الأنشطة الرياضية، وتشجيع نمط الحياة الصحي.
وفي مجال التشجير والزراعة، شهد عام 2024م زراعة 14777 شجرة، وزراعة 695110 زهرات، وفرش مسطحات إنجيلية بمساحة 34500 متر مربع، فيما تواصلت الجهود في عام 2025م بزراعة 8240 شجرة، وزراعة 297950 زهرة، وفرش مسطحات إنجيلية بمساحة 16000 متر مربع.
وتعمل الأمانة من خلال مبادرة أرض القصيم الخضراء، على تعزيز الغطاء النباتي، وتنفيذ برامج توعوية وتطوعية؛ تهدف إلى نشر ثقافة التشجير والمحافظة على البيئة، إلى جانب تنفيذ حملات لمعالجة التشوه البصري وإزالة الظواهر السلبية، مما يسهم في رفع جودة الحياة، وتحقيق الاستدامة البيئية، وزيادة المساحات الخضراء بما يتوافق مع رؤية المملكة 2030.
The Secretariat of the Qassim Region continues its efforts to enhance the quality of life through the implementation of the Green Qassim Land initiative by expanding green spaces and improving the urban landscape, which contributes to promoting the concept of humanizing cities and providing a suitable urban environment for residents and visitors.
The efforts included the development of walkways and public facilities and the creation of parks. In 2024, the "Bahja" project was implemented, which included the establishment of 10 new parks in the city of Buraidah with diverse designs and areas; aimed at increasing the per capita share of green spaces and promoting sustainable development in line with the targets of the Kingdom's Vision 2030. Additionally, the Secretariat implemented 20 urban interventions during the same year to enhance aesthetic appearance and improve the urban environment, along with the establishment of 41 walking tracks in parks, squares, and public areas in the city of Buraidah, with a total length of 44,179 linear meters. The longest track was on King Abdullah Road, measuring 7,877 linear meters; providing a safe environment for practicing sports activities and encouraging a healthy lifestyle.
In the field of afforestation and agriculture, the year 2024 witnessed the planting of 14,777 trees, the planting of 695,110 flowers, and the laying of turf over an area of 34,500 square meters. Efforts continued in 2025 with the planting of 8,240 trees, the planting of 297,950 flowers, and the laying of turf over an area of 16,000 square meters.
Through the Green Qassim Land initiative, the Secretariat is working to enhance vegetation cover and implement awareness and volunteer programs aimed at promoting the culture of afforestation and environmental conservation, in addition to conducting campaigns to address visual pollution and remove negative phenomena, which contributes to improving the quality of life, achieving environmental sustainability, and increasing green spaces in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
