التقى نائب أمير منطقة جازان الأمير ناصر بن محمد بن عبدالله بن جلوي، في مكتبه اليوم، رئيس مجلس إدارة جمعية ثمرة التعاونية للتسويق الزراعي والتصنيع الغذائي المستشار نجم الظفيري، وأعضاء مجلس الإدارة.
واستمع نائب أمير المنطقة لشرح مفصل عن خطط وبرامج الجمعية؛ التي تهدف لدعم صغار المزارعين، وتطوير سلسلة إنتاج متكاملة، وذلك ضمن جهودها لتحقيق مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030.
واطلع على الجهود التي تبذلها الجمعية لتمكين المزارعين من خلال رفع جودة الإنتاج، وتقديم الخدمات الاستشارية المتخصصة لهم، والصناعات التحويلية للمنتجات الزراعية، وتقليل الهدر الزراعي وتوطين الكوادر الوطنية عبر توفير أكثر من 100 فرصة عمل للشباب والفتيات في المنطقة، وذلك في المصنعين التابعين لها بمحافظة أبو عريش بمنطقة جازان، المتخصصين في إنتاج زيت السمسم والحلاوة الطحينية والطحينة السائلة، والفواكه والخضراوات المجمدة، بطاقة إنتاجية تتجاوز الـ19 ألف طن سنوياً.
The Deputy Emir of the Jazan Region, Prince Nasir bin Muhammad bin Abdullah bin Jiluwi, met today in his office with the Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Thamara Cooperative Society for Agricultural Marketing and Food Manufacturing, Consultant Najm Al-Dhafiri, and members of the board.
The Deputy Emir listened to a detailed explanation about the plans and programs of the society, which aim to support small farmers and develop an integrated production chain, as part of its efforts to achieve the objectives of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
He was briefed on the efforts made by the society to empower farmers by enhancing the quality of production, providing specialized consulting services to them, engaging in value-added processing of agricultural products, reducing agricultural waste, and localizing national workforce by creating more than 100 job opportunities for young men and women in the region, specifically in its two factories located in Abu Arish in the Jazan Region, which specialize in producing sesame oil, tahini halawa, liquid tahini, and frozen fruits and vegetables, with an annual production capacity exceeding 19,000 tons.
