Despite the achievements of information and communication technology in electronic applications, programs, and events broadcasted by social media, which highlight the role of social components in the local output and enhance the capabilities of young men and women, some organizers of summer events in the regions prefer tradition and shy away from diligence. They have not innovated in summer programs and events that would justify their being role models for others, as they adopt imitation of others considering it easy and not financially burdensome, unlike innovation and renewal which require high-quality standards and generous budgets.
Perhaps the knowledge revolution has not refined the talents of some who prefer to rely on "what is less burdensome and costs less," knowing that "media" conducts training courses to develop skills in all sectors, including training on tourism programs that enhance the utilization of the local environment and employ it for competition both within and outside the community, which stimulates innovation without the need to copy from others and dress it in a superficial guise that harmonizes with the heritage of the place.
Tourism and entertainment are a culture that is growing, and a psychological and behavioral rooting, and perhaps not all summer tourism events have met the requirements and tastes of all segments, due to bureaucracy and the imposition of routine in every detail, in addition to neglecting the care of talents and developing their capabilities through internal and external courses. Some events are traditional, including theater, where the performance is dominated by clowning, as some workers disdain the written text, similar to some singers who evaluate their success by the dancing of teenagers and the swaying of heads, without paying attention to the taste that art is supposed to elevate.
Every summer, we will continue to look forward to adopting integrative events that include guidance, education, literature, behavior, knowledge, skills, entertainment, art, creativity, and sports, with capable and decentralized administrative coordination, primarily concerned with enriching our domestic tourism in line with the outputs of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.
