أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن دعم المملكة لجميع الجهود الدبلوماسية الرامية إلى حل الأزمة (الروسية - الأوكرانية) بالطرق السلمية والوصول إلى السلام بين البلدين الصديقين.
وقالت الوزارة في بيان: «وإذ ترحب المملكة في هذا الشأن بقمة «ألاسكا» التي جمعت فخامة رئيس الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية دونالد ترمب، وفخامة رئيس روسيا الاتحادية فلاديمير بوتين، لتؤكد دعمها المستمر لمسار الحوار الدبلوماسي سبيلاً لحل الخلافات والنزاعات الدولية».
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom's support for all diplomatic efforts aimed at resolving the (Russian-Ukrainian) crisis through peaceful means and achieving peace between the two friendly countries.
The ministry stated in a statement: "In this regard, the Kingdom welcomes the 'Alaska' summit that brought together His Excellency the President of the United States Donald Trump and His Excellency the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin, to reaffirm its continuous support for the path of diplomatic dialogue as a means to resolve international disputes and conflicts."
