نجح الفريق الطبي في مركز زراعة القوقعة بمدينة الملك سعود الطبية، عضو تجمع الرياض الصحي الأول، في إجراء أول عملية لزراعة النظام الذكي وهو الأحدث عالمياً في مجال غرسات القوقعة الصناعية، بقيادة استشاري الأنف والأذن والحنجرة الدكتور معاذ الصبيح.
ويُعد Cochlear Nucleus Nexa الجيل الجديد من غرسات القوقعة، إذ يتميز بكونه النظام الذكي الوحيد في العالم المزود بذاكرة داخلية قادرة على تحليل البرامج وتخزينها داخل الغرسة نفسها، مع إمكانية تحديثها مستقبلاً، ما يشكل نقلة نوعية في تحسين تجربة مستخدمي القوقعة الصناعية.
وتتيح هذه التقنية إمكانية إرسال معالج خارجي جديد للمستخدم ونقل البرنامج إليه مباشرة من الغرسة، دون الحاجة لزيارة أخصائي السمع، مما يسهم في تبسيط الإجراءات، وتسريع استمرارية الرعاية، وتحسين جودة حياة المستفيدين.

The Cochlear Nucleus Nexa is the new generation of cochlear implants, distinguished as the only smart system in the world equipped with internal memory capable of analyzing and storing programs within the implant itself, with the possibility of future updates, representing a qualitative leap in improving the experience of cochlear implant users.
This technology allows for a new external processor to be sent to the user and the program to be transmitted directly from the implant, without the need to visit an audiologist, contributing to simplifying procedures, accelerating continuity of care, and improving the quality of life for beneficiaries.
