The General Authority for Real Estate announced the start of the property registration process for (14,623) real estate plots in (21) neighborhoods in the Al-Qassim region, including (13) neighborhoods in the city of Buraidah, (4) neighborhoods in the Al-Qasir bin Aqil Center, (3) neighborhoods in the Riyadh Al-Khubara Governorate, and one neighborhood in the city of Unayzah, starting from August 17, 2025, corresponding to 23 Safar 1447 AH, until the end of November 20, 2025, corresponding to 29 Jumada al-Awwal 1447 AH. Additionally, the property registration process for (8,762) real estate plots in (Al-Shiraa neighborhood, Al-Amwaj neighborhood) in the city of Jeddah in the Makkah region will start from August 24, 2025, corresponding to 1 Rabi' al-Awwal 1447 AH, until the end of November 27, 2025, corresponding to 6 Jumada al-Thani 1447 AH.

The authority clarified that the neighborhoods benefiting from the real estate registry in this phase in the Al-Qassim region include the following neighborhoods in the city of Buraidah: (Al-Mansi neighborhood, part of the Southern Dharras neighborhood, part of the Al-Aqiq neighborhood, part of the Al-Jadidat neighborhood, part of the Al-Liwan neighborhood, part of the Al-Gharnatah neighborhood, part of the Al-Mulayda neighborhood, part of the Al-Budur neighborhood, part of the Khob Rawdan neighborhood, parts of the Al-Basr neighborhood, parts of the Al-Ghamas neighborhood, parts of the Al-Da'isa neighborhood, parts of the Al-Sa'adah neighborhood). The registration also includes the following neighborhoods in the Riyadh Al-Khubara Governorate: (Al-Muhandisin neighborhood, Al-Musayf neighborhood, Al-San'ah neighborhood), and the following neighborhoods in the Al-Qasir bin Aqil Center: (part of the Al-Bustan neighborhood, part of the Al-Gharnatah neighborhood, part of the Al-Rayan neighborhood, part of the Al-Narjis neighborhood). The registration in the city of Unayzah will be in: (Al-Durra neighborhood). The authority indicated that the selection of neighborhoods was based on specific criteria, and the remaining areas, governorates, and neighborhoods that will be subject to the property registration process in various regions of the Kingdom will be announced subsequently.

The "Real Estate Authority" pointed out that the initial registration of properties in these areas and neighborhoods will be available through the electronic real estate registry platform https://rer.sa, or through service centers, noting that property registration requires the existence of a title deed that meets the legal requirements to complete the registration process.

The authority urged property owners in the areas and neighborhoods subject to property registration to verify their property title deeds and ensure the necessary conditions are met in preparation for the start of registration. Inquiries about the registration steps can be made through the authority's official platforms or by contacting the customer service center at 199002.

Starting from the specified date for the beginning of registration, a "Property Number" and a property ownership registration deed will be issued for each real estate unit registered, and the property registration deed will include data about the property, its descriptions, condition, and any associated rights and obligations linked to accurate geospatial information, contributing to enhancing infrastructure and the sustainability of the real estate sector. The property registration system aims to increase real estate reliability and enhance transparency in the real estate sector.
