استقبل أمير المنطقة الشرقية الأمير سعود بن نايف بن عبدالعزيز، في مكتبه بديوان الإمارة اليوم (الإثنين)، مدير جوازات المنطقة الشرقية العميد ضويحي بن وبدان السهلي، يرافقه عدد من قيادات الجوازات بالمنطقة.
وأشاد أمير المنطقة الشرقية بالتطورات التي يشهدها قطاع الجوازات، مؤكداً أن تسخير التقنية وتجويد الخدمات يعكس توجه الدولة نحو رفع كفاءة العمل الحكومي وتحسين تجربة المستفيدين، مشدداً على أهمية الاستمرار في تبني الحلول الرقمية المبتكرة، وتعزيز كفاءة الأداء في جميع المنافذ البرية والجوية والبحرية.
وقدّم العميد السهلي عرضاً عن أبرز إحصاءات إدارة الجوازات في المنطقة، وما تحقق من منجزات خلال الفترة الماضية، إضافة إلى استعراض عدد من المبادرات التقنية، من أبرزها تشغيل البوابات الإلكترونية في المنافذ البرية، التي أسهمت في تسريع الإجراءات وتخفيف الازدحام وتحسين تجربة المسافرين، إلى جانب تقديم تقرير عن جهود الإدارة خلال موسم الحج الماضي 1446هـ.
ورفع العميد السهلي شكره وتقديره لأمير المنطقة الشرقية على دعمه واهتمامه المتواصل بخدمات الجوازات في المنطقة.
The Prince of the Eastern Province, Prince Saud bin Nayef bin Abdulaziz, received today (Monday) in his office at the Emirate's Diwan, the Director of Passports for the Eastern Province, Brigadier Duwaihi bin Wadaan Al-Suhaili, accompanied by several leaders from the passports department in the region.
The Prince of the Eastern Province praised the developments witnessed in the passports sector, affirming that harnessing technology and improving services reflects the state's direction towards enhancing the efficiency of government work and improving the beneficiaries' experience. He emphasized the importance of continuing to adopt innovative digital solutions and enhancing performance efficiency at all land, air, and sea ports.
Brigadier Al-Suhaili presented an overview of the key statistics from the passports department in the region, highlighting the achievements made during the past period, in addition to showcasing several technological initiatives, most notably the operation of electronic gates at land ports, which contributed to speeding up procedures, reducing congestion, and improving the travel experience, along with providing a report on the department's efforts during the last Hajj season 1446 AH.
Brigadier Al-Suhaili expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Prince of the Eastern Province for his continuous support and interest in the passport services in the region.
