وزير العدل يلتقي نظيره العراقي ويوقعان برنامجاً تنفيذياً للتعاون العدلي

Today in Riyadh, Minister of Justice Dr. Walid bin Mohammed Al-Samaani received the Minister of Justice of the Republic of Iraq, Dr. Khaled Salam Shwani, as part of efforts to enhance bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries in the judicial and legal fields.

During the meeting, ways to develop joint cooperation in judicial and legal aspects were discussed, along with the exchange of experiences and practices between the ministries of justice in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Iraq.

Dr. Al-Samaani reviewed during the meeting the most significant developments in the judicial sector in the Kingdom, supported by the generous backing of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and direct follow-up from the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, particularly regarding the system of specialized legislations and its role in enhancing judicial efficiency and achieving swift justice.

Both sides emphasized the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation in the fields of legislation and alternative dispute resolution, which contributes to supporting the judicial development journey in both countries.

At the conclusion of the meeting, the Minister of Justice and his Iraqi counterpart signed an executive program that includes cooperation in the fields of legislation, exchanging experiences in documentation, developing alternative dispute resolution methods, in addition to organizing joint events including conferences, seminars, and training courses.
