في إطار تعزيز الجاهزية الميدانية ورفع مستوى التنسيق بين القطاعات المختلفة، نفذت بلدية محافظة صبيا، بالتعاون مع الجهات ذات العلاقة، فرضية ميدانية لإجراءات الاستجابة والتعافي من مخاطر السيول والفيضانات، بهدف تقييم سرعة الاستجابة ومدى فاعلية التنسيق بين الفرق المشاركة في التعامل مع الكوارث الطبيعية والحالات الطارئة.
وتضمنت الفرضية تنفيذ سيناريو يحاكي حدوث سيول مفاجئة، شاركت فيه فرق ميدانية من عدة جهات، وتم استعراض آليات الاستجابة الفورية وخطط الإخلاء والإنقاذ، إلى جانب تقييم جاهزية المعدات والكوادر البشرية في مثل هذه الظروف.
وأكد رئيس بلدية محافظة صبيا المهندس محمد بن حمود نمازي، أن تنفيذ هذه الفرضيات يأتي ضمن جهود البلدية للتمرين والتأهب المسبق، وتعزيز القدرة على التعامل مع تبعات الكوارث التي قد تخلفها مياه الأمطار، مشيراً إلى أن السلامة العامة تمثل أولوية قصوى، وأن الاستعداد المبكر والتنسيق المشترك يشكلان حجر الزاوية في الحد من الآثار المحتملة لأي طارئ.
وتسعى البلدية من خلال هذه الفرضيات إلى ترسيخ ثقافة الاستجابة السريعة، وضمان تكامل الأدوار بين مختلف القطاعات بما يحقق أعلى درجات الأمان للمواطنين والمقيمين.
As part of enhancing field readiness and improving coordination among various sectors, the Municipality of Sabya Governorate, in collaboration with relevant authorities, conducted a field exercise for response and recovery procedures from the risks of floods and torrential rains, aimed at assessing the speed of response and the effectiveness of coordination among the teams involved in dealing with natural disasters and emergencies.
The exercise included executing a scenario simulating sudden floods, in which field teams from several entities participated. It showcased immediate response mechanisms, evacuation and rescue plans, along with evaluating the readiness of equipment and human resources under such conditions.
The Mayor of Sabya Governorate, Engineer Mohammed bin Hamoud Namazi, confirmed that the implementation of these exercises is part of the municipality's efforts for training and pre-preparedness, and enhancing the ability to deal with the consequences of disasters that may result from rainwater. He pointed out that public safety is a top priority, and that early preparedness and joint coordination are cornerstones in mitigating the potential impacts of any emergency.
The municipality aims, through these exercises, to instill a culture of rapid response and ensure the integration of roles among various sectors to achieve the highest levels of safety for citizens and residents.
