أعربت وزارة الخارجية عن ترحيب المملكة العربية السعودية بإعلان رئيس الوزراء البريطاني كير ستارمر عزم بلاده الاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية ودعمها حلّ الدولتين.
وقالت في بيان لها: «تجدد المملكة دعوتها للمجتمع الدولي والدول المحبة للسلام لاتخاذ الخطوات الجادة لتنفيذ القرارات الدولية التي تؤكد الحق الأصيل للشعب الفلسطيني بإقامة دولته المستقلة على حدود عام 1967 وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية».
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcome to the announcement by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer regarding his country's intention to recognize the State of Palestine and support the two-state solution.
It stated in a statement: "The Kingdom reiterates its call to the international community and peace-loving countries to take serious steps to implement international resolutions that affirm the inalienable right of the Palestinian people to establish their independent state on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital."
