يأتي إعلان الرئيس الفرنسي إيمانويل ماكرون عزم بلاده الاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية ترجمة للجهود التي تبذلها السعودية في المحافل الدولية، وسعيها الذي لم ينقطع لحشد دولي يتماهى مع هذه الجهود وصولاً إلى دعم القضية الفلسطينية، بما يحقق الاعتراف بدولة فلسطين وعاصمتها القدس الشرقية، ومنح الشعب الفلسطيني كامل حقوقه المشروعة.
تبقى السعودية خط الدفاع الأول في مواجهة إسرائيل التي ما زالت تواصل عربدتها في قتل وتشريد الشعب الفلسطيني، وتدمير ممتلكاته على مرأى من العالم، الذي بدأ يؤمن أن هذا الكيان يخالف الأعراف والقوانين الدولية والإنسانية.
لن تتوقف السعودية، من خلال جهودها التي يقودها ولي العهد الأمير محمد بن سلمان، عن دعم فلسطين مستثمراً قدرته على إقناع العالم بعدالة القضية الفلسطينية، ولما له من علاقات واسعة مع زعماء الدول المؤثرة على المستويين الإقليمي والعالمي، ولثقة شعوب العالم في توجهاته التي تغلب لغة الحوار في حلحلة الملفات الشائكة على الحروب والصراعات، وهو ما بدأ يؤتي نتائجه في إقناع العالم بضرورة الاعتراف بالدولة الفلسطينية المستقلة.
ويثمن العالم اليوم مواقف السعودية وجهودها في حل كثير من الحروب والصراعات، بدءاً من الحرب الروسية - الأوكرانية، مروراً بما تعانيه السودان ولبنان وسورية واليمن والعراق وليبيا، وتضع الشعوب ثقتها في السعودية التي تقف دائماً على الحياد وتُقدم مصالح الشعوب التي تعاني من القتل والتهجير، وتسعى إلى مساعدتها في مواجهة الظروف الصعبة التي تمر بها.
