Residents of the Durrah Al-Mansak neighborhood in Abha city are complaining about the deterioration of the main and secondary roads. Yusuf Ahmed Rafe' says: "The years of suffering continue due to the random digging carried out by some companies earlier, which then repaved the roads in an unsatisfactory manner, turning them into unstable paths that lack quality and safety." Rafe' describes the situation as alarming, as grass has started to grow from among the holes and cracks, reflecting clear neglect and a lack of maintenance, making the road appear abandoned.

For his part, Abdulaziz Al-Masfer points out that the remnants of construction materials scattered on the roads have caused the formation of random bumps that hinder vehicle movement, in addition to the streets lacking cleanliness and regular maintenance. What increases the danger of the situation is that the Durrah Al-Mansak neighborhood contains the largest private school in the area, which puts the safety of students at risk.

Fahd bin Rakban expressed his concern about the absence of a roundabout or a proper exit for the neighborhood from the western side, as this exit connects the new road extending from the Al-Murooj neighborhood to King Abdullah Road. This has caused several traffic accidents, forcing many drivers to drive against the flow of traffic to enter the neighborhood, which increases the danger of the traffic situation and the absence of a safe proper exit, especially during peak traffic times at the neighborhood's entrances and exits during school hours.

Naif Al-Suraihi points to the poor design of the parking sidewalks on the new road linking Al-Murooj to King Abdullah Road, as these sidewalks have narrowed the road lanes and caused repeated collision accidents. He calls for their urgent removal and redesign in a way that ensures smooth traffic flow and vehicle safety.

The neighborhood residents have appealed to the Asir Region Municipality for swift intervention, to work on rehabilitating and repaving the roads with high quality, and to create a safe exit from the western side, in addition to addressing the issues of sidewalks and scattered cement remnants, in order to ensure safety.
