حثت المديرية العامة للجوازات المواطنين الراغبين في السفر إلى خارج المملكة على التأكد من صلاحية جوازات السفر الخاصة بهم أو مرافقيهم قبل مغادرة المملكة، إذ يشترط ألا تقل مدة الصلاحية عن 3 أشهر للسفر إلى الدول العربية و6 أشهر للسفر إلى بقية الدول.
وأكدت الجوازات إلزامية حمل جواز السفر، أو الهوية الوطنية عند السفر إلى دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، مشيرةً إلى أن الهوية الوطنية الرقمية عبر منصتي «أبشر» و«توكلنا» أو سجل الأسرة لا تخول للسفر إلى خارج المملكة.
ونوهت المديرية بأهمية المحافظة على الجوازات داخل وخارج المملكة من التلف أو الفقدان وعدم إهمالها أو رهنها أو إساءة استعمالها ووضعها في الأماكن المخصصة والآمنة.

The General Directorate of Passports urged citizens wishing to travel outside the Kingdom to ensure the validity of their passports or those of their companions before leaving the Kingdom, as it is required that the validity period be no less than 3 months for travel to Arab countries and 6 months for travel to other countries.
It confirmed that carrying a passport or national ID is mandatory when traveling to the Gulf Cooperation Council countries, noting that the digital national ID via the "Absher" and "Tawakkalna" platforms or the family record does not authorize travel outside the Kingdom.
The directorate emphasized the importance of keeping passports safe inside and outside the Kingdom from damage or loss, and not neglecting, mortgaging, or misusing them, as well as placing them in designated and secure locations.
