أدانَت رابطةُ العالم الإسلامي -باستنكارٍ شديد- الجرائمَ الوحشيّة المتواصلة التي ترتكبها قوات حكومة الاحتلال الإسرائيلي، ضدّ المدنيين العُزّل في قطاع غزة، مُعربةً عن صدمتها من التقارير المروّعة الصادرة من مكتب الأمم المتحدة لحقوق الإنسان، حول مقتل (875) شخصاً أثناء محاولتهم الحصول على الغذاء، في مواقع المساعدات في القطاع.
وفي بيانٍ للأمانة العامة للرابطة، ندَّد معالي الأمين العام، رئيس هيئة علماء المسلمين، فضيلة الشيخ الدكتور محمد بن عبدالكريم العيسى، بسياسة حكومة الاحتلال المتمادية في الاستهانة بحياة الشعب الفلسطيني وإنسانيّته وكرامته، التي تمثِّل انتهاكًا صارخًا لكلّ القِيم الأخلاقية، والقوانين والأعراف الدوليّة.
وشدّد فضيلته على الضرورة الملحة لاضطلاع المجتمع الدولي بمسؤولياته القانونية والأخلاقية تجاه هذا الطغيان، واتخاذ موقف عاجل وجدّي لوقفِ هذه المجازر المروّعة التي تُواصل آلةُ حرب حكومة الاحتلال الإسرائيلية ارتكابَها، وتفعيل الآليات الدوليّة لردعِها، ومحاسبة المسؤولين عنها.
The Muslim World League strongly condemned the ongoing brutal crimes committed by the Israeli occupation forces against unarmed civilians in the Gaza Strip, expressing its shock at the horrifying reports issued by the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights regarding the killing of (875) individuals while attempting to obtain food at aid sites in the region.
In a statement from the General Secretariat of the League, His Excellency the Secretary-General, Chairman of the Association of Muslim Scholars, Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa, denounced the ongoing policy of the occupation government in disregarding the lives, humanity, and dignity of the Palestinian people, which represents a blatant violation of all moral values, international laws, and norms.
He emphasized the urgent necessity for the international community to assume its legal and moral responsibilities towards this tyranny, and to take an immediate and serious stance to stop these horrific massacres that the Israeli occupation government's war machine continues to commit, and to activate international mechanisms to deter them and hold those responsible accountable.
