اطلع أمير منطقة نجران الأمير جلوي بن عبدالعزيز في مكتبه بالإمارة اليوم، على تقرير لإنجازات الخطوط السعودية خلال العام 2024، قدمه مدير الخطوط الجوية العربية السعودية بنجران وشرورة ماجد بن مانع آل زندان.
وتضمن التقرير إحصاءات عن الخدمات المقدمة خلال العام الماضي، إذ بلغ عدد الركاب من مطار نجران 600,384 مسافراً، بزيادة تقدر بأكثر من 27%، عن عام 2023، فيما بلغ المسافرون من مطار شرورة خلال المدة نفسها 202,069 مسافراً، ليصل إجمالي المسافرين من المطارين 802,453 مسافراً خلال العام الماضي، عبر 6,219 رحلة.
وأكّد أمير منطقة نجران، أهمية العمل والتنسيق بين الجهات المعنية؛ لزيادة عدد رحلات الطيران، والسعة المقعدية على الرحلات المغادرة والقادمة من وإلى مطاري نجران وشرورة لتلبية الطلب المتزايد عليها، بما يسهل على المواطنين والمقيمين عناء ومشقة السفر.
وفي ختام اللقاء، ثمن آل زندان، توجيهات ومتابعة أمير منطقة نجران، التي كان لها الأثر بزيادة الرحلات والسعة المقعدية؛ لمواكبة الطلب على رحلات نجران- الرياض، إذ تقدر بـ5 رحلات يومياً، وكذلك رحلات نجران- جدة لتصبح 3 رحلات يوميّاً خلال عام 2025م، مؤكداً مواصلة العمل على زيادة رحلات شرورة- جدة مع الإدارات المختصة في الخطوط السعودية.
The Prince of Najran, Prince Jalwa bin Abdulaziz, today reviewed a report on the achievements of Saudi Airlines during the year 2024 in his office at the emirate, presented by the Director of Saudi Arabian Airlines in Najran and Sharurah, Majid bin Mani Al Zandan.
The report included statistics on the services provided during the past year, with the number of passengers from Najran Airport reaching 600,384 travelers, an increase of more than 27% compared to 2023. Meanwhile, the number of travelers from Sharurah Airport during the same period was 202,069, bringing the total number of travelers from both airports to 802,453 during the past year, through 6,219 flights.
The Prince of Najran emphasized the importance of cooperation and coordination among the relevant authorities to increase the number of flights and seating capacity on flights departing to and arriving from Najran and Sharurah airports to meet the growing demand, making travel easier for citizens and residents.
At the end of the meeting, Al Zandan appreciated the directives and follow-up of the Prince of Najran, which have had a positive impact on increasing flights and seating capacity to keep pace with the demand for Najran-Riyadh flights, estimated at 5 flights daily, as well as Najran-Jeddah flights to become 3 daily flights by the year 2025, confirming the continued efforts to increase Sharurah-Jeddah flights with the relevant departments at Saudi Airlines.
