المملكة ترحِّب بإعلان الرئيس الأمريكي وقف إطلاق النار

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's welcome to the announcement by the President of the United States, Donald Trump, regarding the reaching of a formula for a ceasefire agreement between the parties involved in the escalation in the region, and appreciated the efforts made to reduce tensions.

In a statement issued yesterday, it said: "The Kingdom looks forward to seeing all parties commit to de-escalation and refrain from using or threatening to use force in the coming period, and hopes that this agreement will contribute to restoring security and stability to the region and spare it the risks of continued escalation. The Kingdom reiterates its firm position in supporting dialogue and diplomatic means as a way to resolve regional disputes and conflicts, based on the principle of respecting the sovereignty of states and establishing security, stability, prosperity, and flourishing in the region and the world."
