يواصل فرع المركز الوطني لأبحاث وتطوير الزراعة المستدامة «استدامة» في منطقة نجران دوره في دعم الزراعة المستدامة، من خلال تنفيذ برامج علمية وإرشادية تُسهم في تعزيز زراعة الحمضيات والفواكه الاستوائية، وتطوير المحاصيل البستانية الملائمة للبيئة المحلية.
ونفذ الفرع أكثر من 98 تجربة بحثية، وقدّم ما يزيد على 9,000 زيارة وإرشاد ميداني للمزارعين في المنطقة؛ بهدف نقل التوصيات الفنية وتعزيز كفاءة الممارسات الزراعية.
وأسهمت هذه الجهود في إنتاج وتوزيع أكثر من مليوني شتلة حمضيات، إضافة إلى إصدار 43 نشرة إرشادية متخصصة.
ويحتضن الفرع أكثر من 100 صنف زراعي متنوع، ضمن جهود المركز لتطوير المحاصيل البستانية، تشمل: 26 صنفاً من اليوسفي، و13 من برتقال أبو صرة، و19 صنفاً من المانجو، و38 صنفاً من النخيل، و12 صنفاً من الجريب فروت، بما يعكس تنوعاً واسعاً يدعم أهداف الزراعة المستدامة في المملكة.

The branch of the National Center for Research and Development of Sustainable Agriculture "Sustainability" in the Najran region continues its role in supporting sustainable agriculture by implementing scientific and advisory programs that contribute to enhancing the cultivation of citrus and tropical fruits, as well as developing horticultural crops suitable for the local environment.
The branch has conducted more than 98 research experiments and provided over 9,000 field visits and guidance to farmers in the region, aiming to transfer technical recommendations and enhance the efficiency of agricultural practices.
These efforts have contributed to the production and distribution of more than two million citrus seedlings, in addition to issuing 43 specialized advisory bulletins.
The branch hosts more than 100 diverse agricultural varieties as part of the center's efforts to develop horticultural crops, including: 26 varieties of mandarin, 13 of Abu Surra orange, 19 varieties of mango, 38 varieties of palm, and 12 varieties of grapefruit, reflecting a wide diversity that supports the goals of sustainable agriculture in the Kingdom.
