رحبت رابطة العالم الإسلامي بإعلان الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترمب التوصل إلى صيغة اتفاق لوقف إطلاق النار بين طرفي التصعيد في المنطقة، وتأمل أن يلتزم الجميع بهذا الاتفاق، لتجنيب المنطقة مخاطر استمرار التصعيد، وتهديدات النزاعات والحروب.
وجددت الرابطة تأكيدها أن السلام الحقيقي والدائم لا يحققه منطق الحرب، بل خيار الحوار وحكمته.
The Muslim World League welcomed the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump of reaching a draft agreement for a ceasefire between the parties involved in the escalation in the region, and hopes that everyone will adhere to this agreement to spare the region the dangers of continued escalation and the threats of conflicts and wars.
The League reiterated its assertion that true and lasting peace is not achieved through the logic of war, but rather through the option of dialogue and its wisdom.
