أمير جازان يتسلّم التقرير السنوي لفرع وزارة البيئة والمياه والزراعة

The Governor of Jazan Region, Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Abdulaziz, received the annual report from the Ministry of Environment, Water, and Agriculture branch in the region for the year 2024, during his meeting today in his office at the Emirate's Diwan with the General Director of the branch, Engineer Mohammed bin Ali Al-Ateef.

At the beginning of the meeting, the Governor of Jazan praised the efforts made by the ministry branch in promoting sustainable agricultural development and protecting the environment, as well as achieving the goals of the Kingdom's Vision 2030.

The report highlighted the most prominent programs and projects implemented by the branch during the past year, including agricultural projects and festivals, showcasing the work of markets and slaughterhouses, initiatives, in addition to awareness programs targeting the local community.

Prince Mohammed bin Abdulaziz emphasized the necessity of continuing efforts to develop the agricultural sector and enhance food security, with a focus on innovation and the use of modern technologies in agriculture, while also stressing the importance of ongoing cooperation among all parties.

Additionally, the Governor of Jazan Region met today with the General Director of the National Center for Environmental Compliance Monitoring in the region, Engineer Rakan bin Mubarak bin Sarhan.

During the meeting, he was briefed on a presentation of the center's achievements during the year 2024, including the figures and statistics it contained.

The Governor noted the achievements of the Kingdom in environmental sector indicators, aimed at achieving its national strategic environmental goals, preserving natural resources and gains, and enhancing environmental compliance.
