أكدت الأمانة العامة لمجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية، عدم رصد أي مستويات إشعاعية غير طبيعية في أي من دول مجلس التعاون حتى الآن، وأن المؤشرات البيئية والإشعاعية ما تزال ضمن المستويات الآمنة والمسموح بها فنيّاً، في ظل ما شهدته المنطقة اليوم من أحداث.
أوضح ذلك تقرير صادر عن مركز مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية لإدارة حالات الطوارئ التابع لها، أفادت فيه الأمانة بأنه وبالتنسيق مع الجهات المختصة في الدول الأعضاء، ستتم متابعة الحالة وتطوراتها بشكل مستمر عبر منظومات الرصد والإنذار المبكر، على أن تنشر التقارير الصادرة عنها بصورة مستمرة فور ورودها.
