The Chairman of the Shura Council, Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Al Sheikh, met with the Chairman of the Italian-Saudi Parliamentary Friendship Committee, Marco Osnato, in the presence of several members of parliament, during his participation in the second parliamentary conference on interfaith dialogue held in Rome, Italy.

Osnato welcomed the Chairman of the Shura Council, pointing out the cooperation and excellence in the relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Italy across all levels, praising the Kingdom's constructive role in supporting international peace and stability and avoiding conflicts.

The Chairman of the Shura Council, Dr. Abdullah Al Sheikh, highlighted the friendship relations that bind the two countries, emphasizing the importance of enhancing and supporting bilateral relations to serve the common interests of both countries and their friendly peoples.

During the meeting, the bilateral relations between the two countries were reviewed, along with ways to support and develop them in various fields, and discussions were held on aspects of parliamentary cooperation, in addition to topics of mutual interest.
