حققت جامعة الأمير سطام بن عبدالعزيز قفزة نوعية في تصنيفات التايمز للتأثير لعام 2025، إذ أظهرت النتائج التي أُعلن عنها خلال مؤتمر التنمية المستدامة العالمي الذي استضافته إسطنبول، دخول الجامعة ضمن أفضل 100 جامعة عالمياً من بين نحو 2500 جامعة حول العالم، في الهدف الرابع (جودة التعليم) والهدف الخامس (المساواة بين الجنسين)، كما تصدّرت الجامعات السعودية في الهدف الخامس، واحتلت المركز الثاني وطنياً في الهدف الرابع.
وأوضحت الجامعة في بيان صحفي اليوم أن هذا التقدّم يأتي ثمرة للجهود المستمرة التي تبذلها الجامعة في دعم أهداف التنمية المستدامة للأمم المتحدة، وتماشياً مع مستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 في تعزيز جودة التعليم والتمكين والمساواة.
يذكر أن تصنيف التايمز للتأثير، يعتبر أحد أبرز المؤشرات العالمية التي تقيس مدى التزام الجامعات بتحقيق أهداف التنمية المستدامة (SDGs) التي أقرتها الأمم المتحدة، من خلال التعليم، والبحث العلمي، والممارسات المؤسسية، والشراكة المجتمعية.
Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz University has achieved a qualitative leap in the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings for 2025, as the results announced during the Global Sustainable Development Conference hosted in Istanbul showed that the university has entered the top 100 universities globally out of approximately 2,500 universities worldwide, in Goal 4 (Quality Education) and Goal 5 (Gender Equality). It also ranked first among Saudi universities in Goal 5 and secured the second position nationally in Goal 4.
The university clarified in a press statement today that this progress is the result of the continuous efforts made by the university to support the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 to enhance the quality of education, empowerment, and equality.
It is worth mentioning that the Times Higher Education Impact Rankings is considered one of the most prominent global indicators that measure the commitment of universities to achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) established by the United Nations, through education, scientific research, institutional practices, and community partnerships.
