تتسارع خطوات تنفيذ مشروع المنطقة المركزية في مدينة حائل، الذي يُعد أحد أبرز المشروعات النوعية لتحسين جودة الحياة في وسط المدينة، على مساحة تتجاوز 700 ألف متر مربع، في خطوة تهدف إلى إحياء قلب حائل وتحويله إلى مركز عمراني وثقافي واستثماري نابض بالحياة.
ويهدف المشروع إلى تعزيز الهوية التراثية والمعمارية للمدينة، وتنظيم الحركة المرورية داخل النطاق المركزي، إلى جانب إنشاء بيئة حضرية متكاملة تستجيب لاحتياجات السكان والزوار، مع خلق فرص وظيفية واستثمارية، وتعزيز السياحة الداخلية من خلال ربط المناطق التراثية بمسارات حديثة ومرافق خدمية نوعية.
وفي هذا السياق، قام أمين منطقة حائل المهندس سلطان بن حامد الزايدي بجولة ميدانية تفقدية داخل موقع المشروع، للاطلاع على سير العمل ومتابعة نسب الإنجاز، إذ التقى بالفرق الهندسية والمقاولين، مؤكداً أهمية الالتزام بالجداول الزمنية والمعايير الفنية التي تليق بمكانة المشروع وأثره المنتظر في رفع جودة المشهد الحضري.
ويشمل المشروع مكونات متعددة، منها: شبكة مسارات للمشاة والدراجات وإنشاء ساحات حضرية وربطها بمناطق الأنشطة وتعديل اتجاهات الشوارع وتوسيع الأرصفة وتطوير الواجهات التجارية وإزالة التشوهات البصرية والحفاظ على المباني ذات الطابع التراثي، وإيجاد مناطق استثمارية وحدائق مرتبطة بالمواقع التاريخية.
ويُعد المشروع نموذجاً لتكامل الرؤية الحضرية والثقافية والاستثمارية في مدينة حائل، في ظل الدعم المستمر من هيئة تطوير منطقة حائل، بما ينسجم مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 في تطوير مراكز المدن وتحسين جودة الحياة.
The implementation of the Central Area Project in the city of Hail is accelerating, which is considered one of the most prominent quality projects aimed at improving the quality of life in the city center, covering an area of over 700,000 square meters. This initiative aims to revive the heart of Hail and transform it into a vibrant urban, cultural, and investment center.
The project aims to enhance the city's heritage and architectural identity, organize traffic flow within the central area, and create an integrated urban environment that responds to the needs of residents and visitors. It also seeks to create job and investment opportunities and promote domestic tourism by linking heritage areas with modern pathways and quality service facilities.
In this context, the Secretary of the Hail Region, Engineer Sultan bin Hamid Al-Zaydi, conducted a field tour of the project site to review the progress of work and monitor completion rates. He met with engineering teams and contractors, emphasizing the importance of adhering to timelines and technical standards that befit the project's status and its anticipated impact on enhancing the urban landscape.
The project includes multiple components, such as a network of pedestrian and bicycle paths, the creation of urban squares linked to activity areas, modifying street directions, expanding sidewalks, developing commercial facades, removing visual distortions, preserving buildings with heritage character, and establishing investment areas and gardens connected to historical sites.
The project is a model for the integration of urban, cultural, and investment visions in the city of Hail, supported by the continuous efforts of the Hail Region Development Authority, aligning with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 in developing city centers and improving quality of life.
