تشارك المملكة العربية السعودية في مؤتمر BIO الدولي للتقنية الحيوية لعام 2025، الذي يُقام في مدينة بوسطن الأمريكية خلال الفترة من 16 إلى 19 يونيو الجاري، وذلك من خلال جناح وطني متكامل يضم أبرز الجهات الصحية والعلمية والاستثمارية، الذي يأتي ضمن جهود المملكة والتزامها في دعم الابتكار والاستثمار في التقنيات الحديثة، تحقيقًا لمستهدفات رؤية المملكة 2030 والإستراتيجية الوطنية للتقنية الحيوية.
ويتضمن الجناح مشاركة جهات حكومية عدة من ضمنها وزارة الصحة، ومستشفى الملك فيصل التخصصي ومركز الأبحاث، والشؤون الصحية بوزارة الحرس الوطني، والهيئة العامة للغذاء والدواء، والمعهد الوطني السعودي للصحة، وهيئة الصحة العامة، والمجلس الصحي السعودي، إضافة إلى عدد من المؤسسات البحثية والصحية الرائدة والجهات الاستثمارية، بهدف إبراز قدرات المملكة في مجال الأبحاث والتطوير والابتكار الإكلينيكي، فضلًا عن البيئة التنظيمية المُمكنة لهذا القطاع.
وتنظم المملكة على هامش المؤتمر جلسة كبرى بمشاركة عدد من المسؤولين والخبراء الدوليين، إلى جانب جلسات تفاعلية تُسلّط الضوء على فرص التعاون الدولي، وإبراز الدور المحوري للتحول الصحي في مجالات التقنية الحيوية، وسبل تمكين الشركات الناشئة السعودية في هذا القطاع، واستقطاب الشراكات العالمية في البحث والابتكار.
وتشهد المشاركة أيضًا تدشين أول مسرّعة أعمال سعودية في مجال التقنية الحيوية بالتعاون مع BioLabs USA، وسيتم دعم 8 شركات وطنية ناشئة عبر ربطها بالخبرات العالمية وتمكينها من الوصول إلى الأسواق الدولية، وذلك في مدينة بوسطن.
وتستقبل المملكة زوّارها في الجناح السعودي خلال فترة المعرض في المنصة رقم (3265) بمركز بوسطن للمؤتمرات والمعارض، للاطلاع على برامجها ومبادراتها في مجالات التقنية الحيوية، وجودة الحياة، والتوطين الصناعي.
The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is participating in the 2025 BIO International Convention for Biotechnology, which is being held in Boston, USA, from June 16 to 19, through a comprehensive national pavilion that includes the most prominent health, scientific, and investment entities. This participation is part of the Kingdom's efforts and commitment to supporting innovation and investment in modern technologies, in line with the objectives of Vision 2030 and the National Biotechnology Strategy.
The pavilion includes participation from several government entities, including the Ministry of Health, King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Centre, the Health Affairs of the National Guard, the Saudi Food and Drug Authority, the Saudi National Institute of Health, the Public Health Authority, and the Saudi Health Council, in addition to a number of leading research and health institutions and investment entities. The aim is to highlight the Kingdom's capabilities in research, development, and clinical innovation, as well as the enabling regulatory environment for this sector.
The Kingdom is also organizing a major session on the sidelines of the conference with the participation of several officials and international experts, alongside interactive sessions that spotlight opportunities for international cooperation, highlighting the pivotal role of health transformation in biotechnology, ways to empower Saudi startups in this sector, and attracting global partnerships in research and innovation.
The participation will also witness the launch of the first Saudi business accelerator in the field of biotechnology in collaboration with BioLabs USA, which will support 8 national startups by connecting them with global expertise and enabling them to access international markets, all taking place in Boston.
The Kingdom welcomes visitors to the Saudi pavilion during the exhibition at booth number (3265) at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center, to learn about its programs and initiatives in the fields of biotechnology, quality of life, and industrial localization.
