استقبل نائب أمير منطقة مكة المكرمة نائب رئيس اللجنة الدائمة للحج والعمرة الأمير سعود بن مشعل بن عبدالعزيز، في مقر الإمارة بجدة اليوم، وزير النقل والخدمات اللوجستية المهندس صالح الجاسر.
واطّلع نائب أمير منطقة مكة، خلال الاستقبال، على جاهزية منظومة النقل والخدمات اللوجستية في مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة، واستمع إلى شرح عن استعداداتها المتكاملة لخدمة ضيوف الرحمن خلال موسم حج هذا العام 1446هـ.
واستُعرضت كذلك الاستعدادات التي تشمل جميع قطاعات المنظومة الجوية والبحرية والسككية والبرية، إضافة إلى الخدمات اللوجستية والتقنيات والمبادرات التي تسهم في تيسير رحلة الحجاج وضمان تجربة نقل متكاملة وآمنة.
وسخّرت المنظومة أكثر من 45 ألف موظف وموظفة؛ لتنفيذ خططها خلال موسم الحج، مع تجهيز أكثر من 7,000 رحلة طيران مجدولة من 238 وجهة حول العالم عبر 62 ناقلاً جويّاً، باستخدام 12 صالة سفر في 6 مطارات، ووفرت أكثر من مليوني مقعد عبر قطار الحرمين بأكثر من 4,700 رحلة، بزيادة تُقدّر بنحو 400 ألف مقعد عن العام الماضي، إلى جانب تشغيل قطار المشاعر بـ2,500 رحلة لتسهيل تنقل الحجاج بين المشاعر المقدسة.
وفيما يخص النقل البري، جُهزت أكثر من 25 ألف حافلة و9 آلاف سيارة أجرة، وخصص 18 مساراً لنقل ضيوف الرحمن بين المدن، كما دشّنت المنظومة مركز النقل العام؛ لضمان سهولة وانسيابية حركة الحجاج.
أما على صعيد البنية التحتية، فقد استكملت هيئة الطرق أعمال الصيانة الشاملة لأكثر من 7,400 كيلومتر من الطرق المؤدية إلى المشاعر، وأجرت فحصاً لـ247 جسراً؛ لضمان جاهزيتها وسلامتها، وتم أيضاً استعراض التوسعات في مبادرة الأسفلت المطاطي المرن الممتد من محطة قطار المشاعر في مزدلفة إلى عرفات، ومبادرة تقنيات تبريد الطرق التي تغطي 82% من المواقع مقارنة بالعام الماضي، مع التركيز على المناطق المحيطة بمسجد نمرة، مما يسهم في خفض حرارة سطح الطرق بنحو 12 درجة مئوية، بما يعزز راحة وسلامة الحجاج خلال تنقلاتهم.
The Deputy Emir of the Makkah Region, Deputy Chairman of the Permanent Committee for Hajj and Umrah, Prince Saud bin Mishal bin Abdulaziz, received today at the Emirate's headquarters in Jeddah, the Minister of Transport and Logistics Services, Engineer Saleh Al-Jasser.
During the reception, the Deputy Emir of Makkah was briefed on the readiness of the transport and logistics system in Makkah and the holy sites, and listened to an explanation of its comprehensive preparations to serve the guests of Allah during this year's Hajj season 1446 AH.
The preparations were also presented, covering all sectors of the air, sea, rail, and land transport systems, in addition to logistics services, technologies, and initiatives that contribute to facilitating the pilgrims' journey and ensuring a comprehensive and safe transport experience.
The system has mobilized more than 45,000 male and female employees to implement its plans during the Hajj season, with over 7,000 scheduled flights from 238 destinations around the world via 62 airlines, using 12 travel lounges in 6 airports, and providing more than two million seats through the Haramain Train with over 4,700 trips, an increase estimated at about 400,000 seats compared to last year, in addition to operating the Mashair Train with 2,500 trips to facilitate the movement of pilgrims between the holy sites.
Regarding land transport, more than 25,000 buses and 9,000 taxis have been prepared, with 18 routes designated for transporting the guests of Allah between the cities. The system has also launched a public transport center to ensure the ease and smooth flow of pilgrims' movement.
As for infrastructure, the Roads Authority has completed comprehensive maintenance work on more than 7,400 kilometers of roads leading to the holy sites and conducted inspections on 247 bridges to ensure their readiness and safety. The expansions in the rubberized asphalt initiative extending from the Mashair Train Station in Muzdalifah to Arafat were also reviewed, along with the road cooling technologies initiative that covers 82% of the sites compared to last year, focusing on the areas surrounding the Nimra Mosque, which helps reduce the surface temperature of the roads by about 12 degrees Celsius, enhancing the comfort and safety of pilgrims during their movements.
