تُفعّل الهيئة العامة للعناية بشؤون المسجد الحرام والمسجد النبوي منظومة تبريد هي الأكبر من نوعها في العالم، بطاقة تبلغ 155000 طن تبريد، لتوفير بيئة روحانية مريحة وآمنة لملايين الحجاج. ويعتمد المسجد الحرام على محطتين رئيستين، هما محطة الشامية بقدرة 120000 طن، ومحطة أجياد بطاقة 35000 طن، لتغطية التوسعات والمساحات الشاسعة داخل الحرم. وتعمل الأنظمة على الحفاظ على درجات حرارة معتدلة تراوح بين 22-24 مئوية، وسط استخدام تقنيات تنقية هواء متقدمة تزيل 95% من الشوائب، ما يضمن جودة هواء مثالية تليق بضيوف الرحمن.
وتُنفذ الهيئة أعمال صيانة استباقية ومتواصلة تشمل استبدال قطع الغيار، وتأمين مواقع العمل، وإدارة الموارد بكفاءة، بما يواكب المتطلبات التشغيلية المرتفعة خلال موسم الحج، ويسهم في تعزيز استدامة الخدمات المقدمة في أطهر بقاع الأرض.
وتؤكد الهيئة أن الجهود جزء من رؤية متكاملة تهدف إلى الارتقاء بتجربة الحجاج، وتوفير أقصى درجات الراحة والطمأنينة أثناء أدائهم المناسك، في ظل ظروف مناخية قد تكون حارة في بعض الفترات.

The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques activates the largest cooling system of its kind in the world, with a capacity of 155,000 tons of cooling, to provide a comfortable and safe spiritual environment for millions of pilgrims. The Grand Mosque relies on two main stations: the Shamiya station with a capacity of 120,000 tons, and the Ajyad station with a capacity of 35,000 tons, to cover the expansions and vast areas within the sanctuary. The systems work to maintain moderate temperatures ranging between 22-24 degrees Celsius, while utilizing advanced air purification technologies that remove 95% of impurities, ensuring ideal air quality suitable for the guests of Allah.
The authority carries out proactive and continuous maintenance work, including the replacement of spare parts, securing work sites, and efficiently managing resources, in line with the high operational requirements during the Hajj season, contributing to the sustainability of the services provided in the holiest places on earth.
The authority confirms that these efforts are part of a comprehensive vision aimed at enhancing the experience of pilgrims and providing the highest levels of comfort and reassurance during their rituals, in the face of climatic conditions that may be hot at certain times.
