في إنجاز سعودي جديد يضاف إلى سجل التميز العلمي، حصد الطالب سلطان محمد الجربوع، من كلية علوم وهندسة الحاسب الآلي بجامعة حائل، ميدالية ذهبية وجائزتين خاصتين في المعرض الدولي للاختراعات والابتكارات والتكنولوجيا (ITEX 2025)، الذي أُقيم في العاصمة الماليزية كوالالمبور، بمشاركة واسعة من نخبة المخترعين والباحثين من مختلف دول العالم.
وتمكّن الجربوع من التميّز في أحد أبرز المحافل الابتكارية العالمية، من خلال تقديم مشروع تقني ابتكاري نال إعجاب لجنة التحكيم، واستحق التقدير الذهبي إلى جانب جائزتين دوليتين خاصتين تُمنحان للمشاريع التي تبرز تفوقاً علمياً وتطبيقاً عملياً عالي التأثير.
وأكد الجربوع أن هذا الإنجاز جاء ثمرة دعم جامعة حائل لمشاريع الابتكار وريادة الأعمال، إلى جانب الجهود التي بذلها خلال مراحل تطوير المشروع، موضحاً أن مشاركته في معرض ITEX 2025 جاءت بهدف تمثيل المملكة في المحافل العلمية والارتقاء بصورة الطالب السعودي عالمياً.
من جهتها، عبّرت جامعة حائل عن فخرها بما حققه الطالب، مؤكدة أن هذا الفوز يعكس جودة المخرجات التعليمية والبحثية التي تسعى الجامعة إلى تعزيزها ضمن رؤية المملكة 2030، عبر رعاية العقول الشابة وتمكينها من الإسهام في بناء اقتصاد معرفي قائم على الابتكار والتقنية.
ويعد معرض ITEX من أبرز الفعاليات الدولية المعنية بالاختراعات والابتكار، ويستقطب مشاركات من أكثر من 20 دولة، ويشكّل منصة عالمية لتسليط الضوء على المشاريع العلمية الرائدة.
In a new Saudi achievement added to the record of scientific excellence, student Sultan Mohammed Al-Jarbooa from the College of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Hail won a gold medal and two special awards at the International Exhibition of Inventions, Innovations, and Technology (ITEX 2025), held in the Malaysian capital Kuala Lumpur, with wide participation from a select group of inventors and researchers from various countries around the world.
Al-Jarbooa excelled in one of the most prominent global innovation forums by presenting an innovative technical project that impressed the judging panel, earning him the gold recognition alongside two special international awards granted to projects that demonstrate scientific superiority and high-impact practical application.
Al-Jarbooa confirmed that this achievement is the result of the support from the University of Hail for innovation and entrepreneurship projects, in addition to the efforts he put into developing the project, explaining that his participation in the ITEX 2025 exhibition aimed to represent the Kingdom in scientific forums and elevate the image of the Saudi student globally.
For its part, the University of Hail expressed its pride in what the student has achieved, affirming that this victory reflects the quality of educational and research outcomes that the university seeks to enhance within the framework of the Kingdom's Vision 2030, by nurturing young minds and empowering them to contribute to building a knowledge-based economy driven by innovation and technology.
The ITEX exhibition is one of the most prominent international events concerned with inventions and innovation, attracting participants from more than 20 countries, and serves as a global platform to highlight leading scientific projects.
