أنهت الهيئة الملكية لمدينة مكة المكرمة والمشاعر المقدسة تنفيذ المرحلة الأولى من مشروع الخيام ذات الطابقين، والتي تمثل نحو 75% من إجمالي المشروع، ضمن خطة تطوير شاملة تهدف إلى إثراء تجربة الحاج، وزيادة الطاقة الاستيعابية، وتحسين جودة خدمات الإقامة في مشعر منى، بما يضمن بيئة سكنية مريحة وآمنة لضيوف الرحمن.
وتأتي المرحلة الأولى على مساحة تسكين تتجاوز 20,000 م2 مكونة من 46 مبنى، ومجهزة بأكثر من 550 دورة مياه، استغرقت مدة تنفيذها نحو 100 يوم، باستخدام تقنيات بناء متنوعة تسهم في تسريع عمليات التنفيذ، وتوفر حلولًا أكثر اعتمادية ومرونة لمواجهة تقلبات الطقس.
ويستهدف المشروع خلال موسم حج 1446هـ تسكين نحو 8000 حاج من داخل المملكة وخارجها ومن مختلف باقات الحج، مما يتيح الفرصة لاختبار فاعلية المشروع وملاءمته لرغبات الحجاج المتنوعة، تمهيدًا لدراسة التوسع فيه على نطاق أكبر في المشاعر المقدسة؛ حيث من المقرر أن يكتمل المشروع بالكامل في موسم حج العام القادم بطاقة استيعابية تصل إلى 20,000 حاج.
ويُسهم المشروع في رفع جودة خدمات الإقامة في المشاعر المقدسة وإثراء تجربة ضيوف الرحمن، مع توفير بيئة سكنية منظمة وآمنة تدعم سلامة الحجاج وتلبي احتياجاتهم المختلفة، كما يعزز خلق بيئة مناسبة لتأدية النسك بسير وطمأنينة داخل المخيمات، مما يسهم في رفع مستوى رضا الحجاج عن تجربتهم، إلى جانب الإسهام في تحقيق استدامة الاستخدام الأمثل للمساحات.
The Royal Commission for the City of Mecca and the Holy Sites has completed the first phase of the two-story tents project, which represents about 75% of the total project, as part of a comprehensive development plan aimed at enriching the experience of pilgrims, increasing capacity, and improving the quality of accommodation services in Mina, ensuring a comfortable and safe living environment for the guests of Allah.
The first phase covers a housing area exceeding 20,000 m², consisting of 46 buildings, and is equipped with more than 550 restrooms. The implementation took about 100 days, utilizing various construction techniques that contribute to accelerating the execution processes and providing more reliable and flexible solutions to cope with weather fluctuations.
The project aims to accommodate about 8,000 pilgrims from within the Kingdom and abroad, from various Hajj packages, during the Hajj season of 1446 AH. This allows for testing the effectiveness of the project and its suitability to the diverse desires of the pilgrims, paving the way for studying its expansion on a larger scale in the holy sites; the project is scheduled to be fully completed in the next Hajj season with a capacity of up to 20,000 pilgrims.
The project contributes to raising the quality of accommodation services in the holy sites and enriching the experience of the guests of Allah, while providing an organized and safe living environment that supports the safety of the pilgrims and meets their various needs. It also enhances the creation of a suitable environment for performing rituals with ease and tranquility within the camps, which contributes to increasing the level of pilgrims' satisfaction with their experience, in addition to contributing to achieving sustainability in the optimal use of spaces.
