بدأت بلدية محافظة القطيف، في تنفيذ أعمال تأهيل وتطوير عدد من المنافذ الداخلية في بلدة أم الحمام، وذلك ضمن جهودها الرامية إلى تحسين البنية التحتية والارتقاء بجودة الخدمات البلدية المقدمة للمواطنين والمقيمين.
وتتضمن الأعمال إعادة تأهيل الممرات والأرصفة الداخلية باستخدام بلاط الإنترلوك، على مساحة إجمالية تبلغ 7000 متر مربع، بما يسهم في تعزيز السلامة العامة وتحسين المشهد الحضري داخل الأحياء.
ونوهت البلدية إلى أن هذا المشروع يأتي ضمن خطة تطويرية متكاملة تهدف إلى رفع كفاءة الطرق والمرافق البلدية، وتوفير بيئة آمنة وملائمة تعكس تطلعات السكان.
ويُتوقع أن تسهم هذه الأعمال في تحسين جودة الحياة داخل أحياء أم الحمام، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات التنمية الحضرية.
من جهة ثانية، كشفت بلدية محافظة قرية العليا البدء في تطوير حديقة المخطط الجنوبي، ضمن جهودها المستمرة لتعزيز جودة الحياة، وزيادة الرقعة الخضراء، وتوفير مرافق ترفيهية اجتماعية للمستفيدين.
وتبلغ مساحة الحديقة الإجمالية نحو 12,530 مترا مربعا، وقد شمل المشروع عدة عناصر، أبرزها، بردورات بطول 2,234 مترا طوليا، تكسية أرضيات بمساحة 2,890 مترا مربعا، وملعب كرة قدم بمساحة 600 متر مربع، وزراعة مسطحات خضراء تغطي 6,700 متر مربع، وتنفيذ مسار رياضي بطول 1,490 مترا مربعا، إضافة إلى تخصيص مواقف سيارات بمساحة 840 مترا مربعا.
من جهته أكد رئيس بلدية محافظة قرية العليا الدكتور المهندس أحمد الغامدي، بأن مشروع تطوير حديقة المخطط الجنوبي يأتي ضمن خطة شاملة لتهيئة الحدائق والمتنزهات في المحافظة، بما يتماشى مع مستهدفات رؤية السعودية 2030 في تحسين المشهد الحضري وتوفير مرافق جاذبة للمستفيدين.
The Municipality of Qatif Governorate has begun implementing rehabilitation and development works for several internal access points in the town of Umm al-Hamam, as part of its efforts to improve infrastructure and enhance the quality of municipal services provided to citizens and residents.
The works include the rehabilitation of internal pathways and sidewalks using interlocking tiles, covering a total area of 7,000 square meters, which contributes to enhancing public safety and improving the urban landscape within the neighborhoods.
The municipality noted that this project is part of a comprehensive development plan aimed at raising the efficiency of roads and municipal facilities, and providing a safe and suitable environment that reflects the aspirations of the residents.
These works are expected to contribute to improving the quality of life within the neighborhoods of Umm al-Hamam, in line with urban development targets.
On another note, the Municipality of Al-Qaryah Al-Ulya has announced the start of the development of the Southern Plan Park, as part of its ongoing efforts to enhance the quality of life, increase green spaces, and provide recreational and social facilities for beneficiaries.
The total area of the park is approximately 12,530 square meters, and the project includes several elements, most notably, curbs with a total length of 2,234 linear meters, flooring covering an area of 2,890 square meters, a football field with an area of 600 square meters, green areas covering 6,700 square meters, and the implementation of a sports path with a length of 1,490 square meters, in addition to allocating parking spaces covering an area of 840 square meters.
For his part, the President of the Municipality of Al-Qaryah Al-Ulya, Dr. Engineer Ahmed Al-Ghamdi, confirmed that the development project of the Southern Plan Park is part of a comprehensive plan to prepare parks and recreational areas in the governorate, in line with the targets of Saudi Vision 2030 to improve the urban landscape and provide attractive facilities for beneficiaries.
