نيابةً عن ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان بن عبدالعزيز، رأس وزير الخارجية الأمير فيصل بن فرحان بن عبدالله، اليوم، وفد المملكة المشارك في قمة دول مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية ودول رابطة الآسيان وجمهورية الصين الشعبية، المنعقدة في ماليزيا.
وألقى وزير الخارجية كلمة أكد فيها أن القمة تمثل خطوة متقدمة في مسيرة التعاون التي بدأت مع القمة الأولى لدول مجلس التعاون ورابطة الآسيان في الرياض عام 2023، والتي أرست دعائم شراكة طموحة عززت الروابط الاقتصادية والتجارية، وفتحت آفاقًا جديدة للتعاون في مجالات الطاقة، والتعليم، والأمن، والابتكار.
وقال: «نجتمع لتعميق هذه الشراكة، من خلال انضمام جمهورية الصين الشعبية».
وأكد الالتزام بدعم نمو اقتصادي طويل الأجل يتسم بالشمولية والاستدامة، يشمل جميع فئات المجتمع ويحافظ على التوازن البيئي. وقال: «نسعى إلى تسريع التحول نحو الطاقة منخفضة الكربون، والنظيفة، والمتجددة، والاستفادة من مبادرات الحزام والطريق الصينية لدعم الترابط الإقليمي، وتكامل دول الآسيان مع دول مجلس التعاون، كما نسعى لتطوير الاقتصاد الرقمي عبر تمكين الشركات الناشئة، وتوسيع الشراكات بين القطاعين العام والخاص، وتعزيز برامج التبادل بين الشعوب، لبناء اقتصادات مرنة تعزز الابتكار والشمولية».
وأوضح وزير الخارجية أن المملكة العربية السعودية ملتزمة من خلال رؤية 2030 بتعزيز بيئة استثمارية جاذبة، وتسهيل حركة التجارة، وتذليل العقبات أمام التبادل التجاري، ونتطلع من خلال هذه القمة إلى توسيع التعاون بين الدول المجتمعة في جميع المجالات الحيوية ذات الاهتمام المشترك بهدف بناء شراكة إستراتيجية طويلة الأمد تعود بالنفع على شعوبنا وتعزز مكانتنا في المجتمع الدولي.
وقال وزير الخارجية:«تؤكد المملكة ضرورة العمل الجماعي لتحقيق حل عادل وشامل يضمن حقوق الشعب الفلسطيني وفق قرارات الشرعية الدولية ومبادرة السلام العربية، كما أننا نشارككم الرغبة والاستعداد لبذل كل جهد ممكن في سبيل وقف الحرب والتوصل لحل سلمي مستدام في أوكرانيا».
حضر القمة، وكيل الوزارة للشؤون الدولية المتعددة والمشرف العام على وكالة الوزارة لشؤون الدبلوماسية العامة الدكتور عبدالرحمن الرسي، ووكيل الوزارة لشؤون الاقتصاد والتنمية عبدالله بن زرعة، ووكيل وزارة الاستثمار للعلاقات الدولية سارة السيد، وسفير خادم الحرمين الشريفين لدى ماليزيا مساعد السليم، والسفير في وزارة الخارجية هيثم المالكي، ومدير إدارة مجلس التعاون لدول الخليج العربية أنس الوسيدي.
On behalf of Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Foreign Minister Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah today chaired the Kingdom's delegation participating in the summit of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries, the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), and the People's Republic of China, held in Malaysia.
The Foreign Minister delivered a speech in which he affirmed that the summit represents an advanced step in the journey of cooperation that began with the first summit of the GCC and ASEAN countries in Riyadh in 2023, which laid the foundations for an ambitious partnership that enhanced economic and trade ties and opened new horizons for cooperation in the fields of energy, education, security, and innovation.
He said: "We gather to deepen this partnership, through the inclusion of the People's Republic of China."
He emphasized the commitment to supporting long-term economic growth characterized by inclusivity and sustainability, encompassing all segments of society while maintaining environmental balance. He stated: "We seek to accelerate the transition to low-carbon, clean, and renewable energy, and to benefit from Chinese Belt and Road initiatives to support regional connectivity and the integration of ASEAN countries with GCC countries. We also aim to develop the digital economy by empowering startups, expanding partnerships between the public and private sectors, and enhancing people-to-people exchange programs to build resilient economies that promote innovation and inclusivity."
The Foreign Minister clarified that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is committed, through Vision 2030, to enhancing an attractive investment environment, facilitating trade movement, and removing obstacles to trade exchange. He expressed hope that this summit would expand cooperation among the participating countries in all vital areas of mutual interest, with the aim of building a long-term strategic partnership that benefits our peoples and enhances our position in the international community.
The Foreign Minister stated: "The Kingdom emphasizes the necessity of collective action to achieve a just and comprehensive solution that guarantees the rights of the Palestinian people in accordance with international legitimacy resolutions and the Arab Peace Initiative. We also share your desire and readiness to make every possible effort to stop the war and reach a sustainable peaceful solution in Ukraine."
Attending the summit were the Undersecretary for Multilateral International Affairs and General Supervisor of the Ministry's Public Diplomacy Agency, Dr. Abdulrahman Al-Rassi; the Undersecretary for Economic Affairs and Development, Abdullah bin Zar'ah; the Undersecretary for Investment for International Relations, Sarah Al-Sayed; the Ambassador of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to Malaysia, Musaad Al-Sulaim; the Ambassador at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Haitham Al-Maliki; and the Director of the Gulf Cooperation Council Administration, Anas Al-Wasidi.
