كشف المتحدث باسم المديرية العامة للجوازات الرائد ناصر العتيبي لـ«عكاظ» أن الجوازات استحدثت لموسم حج هذا العام حزمة من التقنيات الحديثة ضمن جهودها للتحول الرقمي، من أبرزها أنظمة قراءة الجوازات البيومترية المطورة، وتقنيات الذكاء الاصطناعي المستخدمة في تحليل البيانات والأنماط التشغيلية للمنافذ، إلى جانب التوسع في استخدام البوابات الذكية لإنهاء إجراءات دخول الحجاج بسرعة وأمان.
وفي ما يتعلق بالخدمات الإلكترونية خلال موسم الحج، أشار إلى أن الجوازات تقدم باقة واسعة من الخدمات الرقمية عبر منصاتها الرسمية مثل «أبشر» و«مقيم»، تشمل إصدار التصاريح، وتحديث المعلومات، وتقديم البلاغات، والاستعلامات الفورية، وذلك ضمن إطار متكامل يعزز كفاءة الأداء ويختصر الوقت والجهد على الحجاج والجهات ذات العلاقة.
وبشأن قرار إيقاف تأشيرات العمرة والزيارة في وقت مبكر، أكد متحدث الجوازات أن هذا القرار أثبت جدواه بفعالية كبيرة، حيث ساهم في تقليل الضغط على المنافذ، ورفع كفاءة تنظيم دخول الحجاج النظاميين، ومنح الفرق الميدانية مرونة أكبر في التطبيق، وهو ما انعكس على انسيابية الحركة في المنافذ ورفع جودة الخدمة المقدمة.
وقال: الجوازات تعمل خلال موسم الحج وفق منظومة متكاملة من الإجراءات والخطط التشغيلية التي تُحدّث باستمرار، بهدف تقديم خدمات نوعية لضيوف الرحمن، وضمان انسيابية الإجراءات منذ لحظة وصولهم إلى أراضي المملكة حتى مغادرتهم بعد أداء النسك.
ولفت إلى أن الجوازات تعتمد في تنفيذ مهماتها على 3 مراحل رئيسية، تشمل الاستعدادات المسبقة، والعمليات الميدانية أثناء الموسم، ثم مرحلة التقييم والتطوير بعد انتهاء الموسم.
وبيّن الرائد العتيبي أن المنافذ الدولية تمثل محوراً استراتيجياً في خطة الجوازات لموسم الحج، حيث تم توزيع الكوادر البشرية المؤهلة والتقنيات الحديثة على جميع المنافذ الجوية والبرية والبحرية، بما يضمن سرعة إنجاز الإجراءات واستيعاب كثافة الحركة خلال فترة الذروة، مشدداً على أن «الجوازات» تولي اهتماماً كبيراً لبناء منظومة مرنة قادرة على التكيف مع التحديات المختلفة.
وعن جانب الأمن، أضاف متحدث الجوازات: «نعمل ضمن منظومة وطنية متكاملة لتعزيز الأمن والسلامة في المشاعر المقدسة، من خلال التأكد من نظامية الحجاج، والتعامل مع المخالفين، وتطبيق التعليمات الصادرة بشأن تصاريح الحج بدقة، بما يسهم في تحقيق أعلى مستويات الأمان والانضباط».
وختم الرائد ناصر العتيبي تصريحه بالتأكيد على أن الجوازات تعمل على مدار العام في إطار تطويري مبني على دراسات ميدانية وتحليل بيانات موسمية، بهدف تحقيق التحسين المستمر في الأداء ورفع الجاهزية التشغيلية لمواسم الحج القادمة، بما يعكس مكانة المملكة الريادية في خدمة ضيوف الرحمن.
The spokesperson for the General Directorate of Passports, Captain Nasser Al-Otaibi, revealed to "Okaz" that the passports department has introduced a package of modern technologies for this year's Hajj season as part of its digital transformation efforts. Among the most notable are the developed biometric passport reading systems and artificial intelligence technologies used in analyzing data and operational patterns at the entry points, in addition to expanding the use of smart gates to expedite the entry procedures for pilgrims quickly and securely.
Regarding electronic services during the Hajj season, he pointed out that the passports department offers a wide range of digital services through its official platforms such as "Absher" and "Maqeem," which include issuing permits, updating information, submitting reports, and instant inquiries. This is part of an integrated framework that enhances performance efficiency and saves time and effort for the pilgrims and relevant authorities.
Concerning the decision to suspend Umrah and visit visas early, the passports spokesperson confirmed that this decision has proven to be highly effective, as it contributed to reducing pressure on the entry points, improving the efficiency of organizing the entry of regular pilgrims, and granting field teams greater flexibility in implementation. This has reflected positively on the smooth flow of movement at the entry points and improved the quality of service provided.
He stated that the passports department operates during the Hajj season according to an integrated system of procedures and operational plans that are continuously updated, aiming to provide quality services to the guests of Allah and ensure the smoothness of procedures from the moment they arrive in the Kingdom until their departure after performing the rituals.
He noted that the passports department relies on three main phases to carry out its tasks, including pre-season preparations, field operations during the season, and then the evaluation and development phase after the season ends.
Captain Al-Otaibi indicated that international entry points represent a strategic focus in the passports department's plan for the Hajj season, as qualified personnel and modern technologies have been distributed across all air, land, and sea entry points to ensure the swift completion of procedures and accommodate the high volume of movement during peak times. He emphasized that the "passports" department places great importance on building a flexible system capable of adapting to various challenges.
Regarding security, the passports spokesperson added: "We operate within a comprehensive national system to enhance security and safety in the holy sites by ensuring the legality of the pilgrims, addressing violators, and accurately implementing the instructions issued regarding Hajj permits, contributing to achieving the highest levels of safety and discipline."
Captain Nasser Al-Otaibi concluded his statement by emphasizing that the passports department works year-round within a developmental framework based on field studies and seasonal data analysis, aiming to achieve continuous performance improvement and enhance operational readiness for upcoming Hajj seasons, reflecting the Kingdom's pioneering position in serving the guests of Allah.
