ضبطت الدوريات الساحلية لحرس الحدود بجدة في منطقة مكة المكرمة، مواطنًا مخالفًا لنظام البيئة، لارتكابه مخالفة الشروع في الصيد دون ترخيص في مركز البريكة، بحوزته بندقية شوزن، و(46) ذخيرة حيّة، وتم تحريز المضبوطات وتطبيق الإجراءات النظامية بحقه.
وشددت المديرية العامة لحرس الحدود على الالتزام بنظام البيئة ولوائحه التنفيذية التي تجرم صيد الكائنات الفطرية دون ترخيص، مؤكدةً أن عقوبة الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة (10,000) ﷼، وعقوبة استخدام بنادق الشوزن في الصيد دون ترخيص غرامة (100,000) ﷼.
وأهابت في الوقت ذاته بالمبادرة بالإبلاغ عن أي حالات تمثل اعتداءً على البيئة أو الحياة الفطرية، وذلك بالاتصال بالرقم (911) في مناطق مكة المكرمة والمدينة المنورة والرياض والشرقية، و(999) و(996) في بقية مناطق المملكة.
The coastal patrols of the Border Guard in Jeddah, in the Makkah region, apprehended a citizen violating environmental regulations for attempting to hunt without a license in the Al-Breika area, in possession of a shotgun and (46) live ammunition. The seized items were confiscated, and legal procedures were applied against him.
The General Directorate of Border Guard emphasized the importance of adhering to environmental regulations and their executive bylaws, which criminalize hunting of wildlife without a license. It confirmed that the penalty for hunting without a license is a fine of (10,000) ﷼, and the penalty for using shotguns for hunting without a license is a fine of (100,000) ﷼.
At the same time, it urged the public to report any cases that represent an assault on the environment or wildlife by calling (911) in the Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and Eastern regions, and (999) and (996) in other areas of the Kingdom.
