The Acting Deputy Minister of Interior, Prince Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayaf, and the Deputy Minister of Public Security of the People's Republic of China, General Zhou Datong, held the fifth meeting of the Security Affairs Committee stemming from the Saudi-Chinese Joint High-Level Committee, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Public Security in Beijing.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Ayaf confirmed that, under the directives of the leaderships of the two friendly countries, broad horizons for cooperation and coordination have been opened between the two nations, one of the fruits of which was the establishment of the Saudi-Chinese Joint High-Level Committee; which works to enhance cooperation and partnership in all fields. He stated, "What distinguishes the two countries is their solid historical relations, which have become a model for cooperation and coordination in all areas."

He pointed out that the meeting, which discusses the initiatives agreed upon by both sides, confirms the level of security cooperation between the two friendly countries based on trust and mutual collaboration in the face of rapid changes and the intermingling of crises and challenges.

During the meeting, a number of topics listed on the agenda were reviewed and discussed.

Following the meeting, the Acting Deputy Minister of Interior and the Deputy Minister of Public Security of the People's Republic of China signed the minutes of the fifth meeting of the Security Affairs Committee stemming from the Joint High-Level Committee.
