أوضحت الهيئة العامة للعناية بشؤون الحرمين الشريفين، عبر حسابها في منصة «X»، أنه تمت تغطية أرجاء المسجد الحرام بمنظومة صوتية بتقنيات متقدمة وبدقة وجودة عالية، وتُعد من أكبر وأضخم الأنظمة الصوتية على مستوى العالم، بوجود 120 مهندساً وفنياً يعملون على جودة الأذان والإقامة والصلوات والخطب، و21 نظاماً مستقلاً للأنظمة الصوتية مما يتيح إمكانية التحكم في كل جزء من المسجد الحرام على حدة، وأكثر من 100 ميكروفون مستخدمة في المسجد الحرام، لتغطية جميع الأصوات المختلفة للأئمة والمؤذنين والخطباء، و8 آلاف سماعة داخل المسجد الحرام وساحاته والتوسعات الجديدة والطرقات المحيطة، و6 غرف للتحكم المركزي داخل المسجد الحرام وساحاته والتوسعات والطرق المحيطة. ويغطي النظام الصوتي 650000 متر مربع بالمسجد الحرام مما يضمن وصول الصوت بوضوح إلى جميع المصلين والزوار. والنظام الصوتي مزود بلواقط بحساسية متطورة تلتقط أصوات المؤذنين وأئمة المسجد الحرام وفق توازن صوتي تعمل عليه بشكل يومي لضمان جودة الصوت، ويشترك النظام الصوتي مع أنظمة النقل المباشر للتلفزيونات والمحطات الإعلامية، وميكروفونات احتياطية لمصدر الصوت على مدار الساعة تعمل في حال وجود عطل بشكل تلقائي، ووجود نظام كاميرات متطور لمتابعة الإمام أثناء الصلاة.

The General Authority for the Care of the Two Holy Mosques clarified, via its account on the "X" platform, that the Grand Mosque has been equipped with an advanced audio system featuring high precision and quality. This system is considered one of the largest and most massive audio systems in the world, with 120 engineers and technicians working on the quality of the adhan, iqamah, prayers, and sermons. There are 21 independent audio systems, allowing for control of each part of the Grand Mosque separately, and more than 100 microphones used in the Grand Mosque to cover all the different voices of the imams, callers to prayer, and speakers. Additionally, there are 8,000 speakers inside the Grand Mosque, its courtyards, new expansions, and surrounding roads, along with 6 central control rooms within the Grand Mosque and its courtyards, expansions, and surrounding roads. The audio system covers 650,000 square meters of the Grand Mosque, ensuring that sound reaches all worshippers and visitors clearly. The audio system is equipped with advanced sensitivity microphones that capture the voices of the callers to prayer and imams of the Grand Mosque, working daily to maintain sound quality. The audio system is integrated with live broadcast systems for televisions and media stations, and it has backup microphones for the sound source that operate automatically in case of a malfunction. There is also an advanced camera system to monitor the imam during prayer.
