The Emir of the Medina Region, Chairman of the Hajj and Umrah Committee in the region, Prince Salman bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, confirmed that the Unified Security Operations Center (911) embodies the advancements and high readiness of the security system in the Kingdom, praising the technical and human capabilities of the center and its pivotal role in supporting security and service efforts in the region. This came during the Emir's visit to the Unified Security Operations Center (911) in the region, which is affiliated with the National Security Operations Center.

The Emir of Medina expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the wise leadership for their continuous support in developing the security system across various regions of the Kingdom. He also extended his sincere thanks and appreciation to the Minister of Interior, Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, for his ongoing follow-up and commitment to achieving the highest standards of efficiency in security and service performance, which contributes to serving the guests of Allah and visitors to Medina.

The Emir of Medina emphasized the importance of enhancing integration among the concerned authorities and the continuous work to develop operational mechanisms and improve performance efficiency, which contributes to speeding up responses to reports and ensuring the safety and security of visitors, citizens, and residents.

Prince Salman bin Sultan listened to a briefing about the operational facilities of the center, presented by Brigadier Omar bin Aida Al-Talhi, Commander of the National Security Operations Center. The Emir of Medina was briefed on the reporting reception hall, the television monitoring room, the report dispatch room, in addition to the crisis and disaster room. During the tour, he received a detailed explanation about the workflow and advanced technologies used in managing reports and dealing with emergency situations.



Prince Salman bin Sultan also visited the Miqat of Dhul-Hulaifah, accompanied by the Secretary of the region, the CEO of the authority, Engineer Fahd bin Mohammed Al-Balahi.

He inspected the works of the first phase of the development and rehabilitation project taking place at the mosque, aimed at improving the service system provided to the guests of Allah; this included humanizing the squares and facilities over an area exceeding 50,000 square meters, which contributed to increasing the mosque's capacity from 5,000 worshippers to more than 15,000 worshippers.



The Emir of Medina confirmed that the service sites located on the pilgrims' routes are a fundamental pillar in the system of care for the guests of Allah, pointing out that the Miqat mosque is one of the vital landmarks that receives the attention of the wise leadership, due to its religious significance as one of the main miqats from which pilgrims and Umrah performers enter into ihram.

He highlighted the efforts made in developing these sites, which reflect the interest of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, within the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, which prioritizes the service of the Two Holy Mosques and their visitors by enhancing infrastructure efficiency, integrating services, and achieving the highest standards of quality and comfort, reflecting the Kingdom's message in serving Islam and Muslims.



During the tour, Prince Salman bin Sultan listened to a detailed explanation about the development of the service system in the mosque, which included the installation of 40 mist fans to cool the atmosphere, the preparation of 100 water drinking stations in the new squares, as well as the development of the lighting system through 7,000 new lighting units, and the improvement of sound systems using 190 speakers and amplifiers with modern technologies, in addition to the development and rehabilitation of more than 1,300 restrooms and light points, and the establishment of operational plans to ensure smooth bus movement in the area surrounding the miqat.

He also received a brief explanation about the areas of development and rehabilitation in the general site, which come within the tasks of the Medina Region Development Authority in supervising the Miqat Mosque of Dhul-Hulaifah, and the collaborative work with the Guests of Allah Service Program and all relevant authorities to develop improvement plans and rehabilitate all facilities of the mosque, ensuring the provision of integrated organizational services for the guests of Allah.



The Emir of Medina also received in his office at the emirate the Director of King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center in Medina, Dr. Imad bin Mohammed Khadawardi, on the occasion of the hospital receiving the "Guarantee for Excellence" award for the year 2025.

During the meeting, the Emir congratulated the hospital's administration and its medical and administrative staff on this distinguished achievement, praising the high-quality specialized health services provided by the hospital, which meet global standards and fulfill the aspirations of patients and visitors.

For his part, Dr. Khadawardi expressed his gratitude and appreciation to the Emir of Medina for his continuous support for the health sector, affirming the hospital's commitment to continue excellence in providing advanced medical care and enhancing its role as a specialized reference center serving the residents and visitors of Medina.
